Above the Square Garden, the intensity of the battle was rising. As the Conquerors exerted their force, Plague Lords continued to fall, but even more emerged through the Teleportation Gate, catapulting onto the Battlefield.
Those below Third-order could only protect themselves, hardly able to contribute much, but luckily, there were plenty of Heroes. As the power of the Conquerors grew, the games they were subjected to became increasingly difficult. The encountered Trojan Squads were also of similar strength; this was for balance.
However, for Conquerors whose power burgeoned slowly, this was disadvantageous because there was almost no time left for them to adapt and improve. If they didn't grow stronger, they could only die. As for each battle's Newbies, they were merely an addition. On average, one potential teammate could be selected out of every three matches, which was already quite good.
