The vampires lying in ambush were advancing step by step. They had managed to use this approach to kill a number of actors—though they had suffered significant losses of their own. Ultimately, however, what they lost were still "people." Whether they were low-ranking vampires, actors, or a few reckless common people, at their core—they were all human.
"I'll count to three, then you throw," Qian Jiangyue said to Shadow Play.
"Got it," Shadow Play nodded.
"The plan is simple: you use the hand grenade to cover us, and then you'll use your skills to get over yourself. But one thing to note—we might not have time to wait for you. Once we reach the exit, we're blowing it up, so be quick," Qian Jiangyue reminded her.
"Relax, no problem," Shadow Play replied confidently.
"Everyone, get ready," Qian Jiangyue scanned the group, and after confirming no objections, he began the countdown, "One, two... Three!"
