The back hill was basically devoid of any paths, and the creek Yan Fei had heard was still some distance away. It wasn't until nearly noon that the two of them got there. Reaching the creek, the girl hopped onto a large rock first, looking around and saying, "We're finally here, where's Tiger Da and the others?"
Yan Fei spoke nonchalantly, "Never mind them, let's catch a fish later and try grilling it to see if it's tasty."
"I want to give it a try." The girl's interest peaked at the mention, and she ran to the creek side, taking off her shoes and socks, ready to get into the water.

"Then I'll start piling up stones for the fire," Yan Fei said after seeing her reaction and started stacking stones for a fire pit nearby.
