Yan Fei was startled, and upon turning around, he saw a green beam of light coming from a mountain range 5000 meters away. It was clearly from a laser sight mounted on a weapon. He could also make out two standing figures—the laser originated from the equipment in their hands. However, the laser wasn't aiming at anyone present but rather at a huge rock 50 meters away from them.
The laser sight came from behind Yan Fei and wasn't pointed at him. Coupled with the fact that Yan Fei had been on guard against Ancestrial Land, he hadn't noticed anything amiss behind him. It wasn't until Ancestrial Land mentioned it that he became aware of the laser's presence.
