It's early in the morning and Lilly is training with her mother. It's more likely that she's getting beaten up is the right term.
"Mom! Why did you bring a whip!?"
Lilly is training how to dodge and predict where an attack is going. Right now her mother Valeria is hitting her in a pattern but Lilly is panicking so she can't figure it out. Lilly for some reason got tired too easily and ends up falling on the ground and getting hit several times.
A few hours after that whole debacle, Valeria decided to talk to William.
"This is pointless dear, she's not ready."
Valeria had a worried tone in her voice and William noticed it. She rants about more things and why Lilly isn't ready.
"Are you just worried she might end up like Leia?"
As soon as William said that, Valeria froze and was a bit frustrated too.
"Do not bring her up William."
Valeria left the room afterwards as William looks down until he received a phone call.
"Yes, who is this?"
A familiar voice went to his ear.
"It's me, the Queen of Dragons, blah blah blah."
It was Madeline who sounds a bit pissed for some reason. It's like something ruined her day or ticked her off.
"What do you want Queen Madeline?"
William responds in a voice that sounds darker than the room he is in. It's like he's done with everything at that point.
"I tried to contact Lilly but she hasn't responded and it's been 5 hours."
William took a heavy sigh and puts his hand on his eye and then moved it up his forehead as he rubbed his face.
"She went to hunt or so she said. I'm not exactly sure what she's doing."
Both of them are in a bad mood so they just hunged up at the same time and still think that they're the one that hunged up even though they somehow did it at the same time.
Lilly came back afterwards with torn apart clothes and very tired. She's breathing for air and sweating really hard. Valeria found her on the entrance and brought her to bed.
"My goodness, you definitely overworked yourself this time."
She says that as she gives Lilly some water. Lilly drank it like a desert getting hit by rain. After drinking loads of it she finally relaxes.
"Listen honey, why did you push yourself to the limit?"
Valeria asks her with a worried tone in her voice. Lilly takes a deep breath and looks at her in the eyes.
"I just wanted to awaken my wolf like everybody else."
Lilly responds while feeling a bit guilty because she made everyone worry. She scratches some of her body parts afterwards.
"Listen dear, you shouldn't force it otherwise it would be harder to awaken. You could die for goodness sake."
Lilly looks down afterwards and is actually trying not to cry.
"I'm not mad Lilly, I'm just slightly disappointed."
She says that as she touched her face and Lilly bursts into tears. She then puts her forehead at her forehead.
"I'm... Sorry..."
She says that as she's still crying and her mom just wipes her tears.
"It's okay Lilly, I don't hate you and you know that right? Just take a rest and you'll be fine okay?"
Valeria then leaves afterwards and then took a deep breath. She's met with Ronnie as she stepped out. They had an awkward stare for a moment before Valeria decided to break the moment.
"Hey... What are you doing here?"
Valeria asks a question even though it's obvious what he's after. She's just doing it to distract him and herself.
"I uhh... I came to check on Lilly. I feel she's in both physical and emotional pain."
Ronnie responds and even he knows that fact but he pretends to ignore it. There was an awkward silence afterwards until Valeria took a breath.
"Listen son, we should talk about our situation with each oth-"
"I'm not in the mood right now mom, and besides I think I need to check on Lilly."
After being interrupted by Ronnie, Valeria just accepts the fact that they're still pretty awkward with each other.
"I know, go ahead. I'll uhh... Head back to my room and do queen stuff..."
She walked away a bit rapid while she has a disappointed face. Ronnie looked down and sighs. He wants his relationship with his mother to go back to normal but everything seems to mess up. He then enters Lilly's room afterwards.
"You don't have to hide what just happened from me"
Is what Lilly says right after Ronnie enters the room. She has a slight smug at her face with her arms crossed.
"You know we can talk about it and I'll help fix your relatio-"
"Look Lilly, I don't need help with that okay? Just let me do it, I'll eventually fix it. Let's leave it at that okay?"
Ronnie cuts her off even though he does actually needs help. It's just that his pride won't allow it and he doesn't want others to repair his mistake for him especially Lilly. He thinks he should've been there with his mom when Lilly was in a coma and regrets what he has done.
Lilly held his hand to calm Ronnie down. Ronnie did calm down and smiles a bit.
"Thanks sis."
Lilly just smiles as he said that. Ronnie just checks on Lilly the whole night.
"Hey have you heard the story of Fenrir?"
Ronnie asks her as an attempt to entertain Lilly.
"The one that Darius slayed?"
Ronnie nods and continues on with the story as the rain started pouring.
"Fenrir wasn't always an evil wolf apparently. He used to be a servant of the moon goddess, a loyal one at that. Apparently, the Moon Goddess fell in love with the Cloud Goddess, which is the goddess of the dragons. Fenrir felt betrayed and sought revenge. He was getting jealous as he felt The Moon Goddess favored her more than him. Fenrir started a coup to overthrow both of them. However it failed as Darius the renowned greatest wolf warrior slained him. Apparently history repeats itself hence why the war between us and the dragons began. I hope it's not a cycle after you fell in-love with the Queen however. The story is too similar in fact."
Lilly felt worried after hearing that. She then remembers that their love was destined with each other and felt confident.
"I'm sure that it won't, I mean me and Madeline are fated to be together. I love her and she loves me."
Ronnie smiles a bit after hearing that and stands up.
"Well, I'm glad to hear it."
He then leaves afterwards as Lilly looks around the room. He sees a picture of her and Bobby in a matching suit during Christmas.
"Hey old friend, I finally awakened by ability and my relationship with my girlfriend is pretty great! I'm quite shocked at all of this still, it's kinda overwhelming me. I still can't really believe all of this is real."
She touches the necklace afterwards
"I'm lucky that I have people like them with me and that my life turned out like this. But... But god do I miss you. I couldn't even say goodbye, I can't believe our last moments together was playing catch."
She bursts into tears again as he holds the necklace tightly. She heard something at the window and then wipes her tears. She looked and saw nothing. She might be being watched so she goes closer to the window and walks slowly over there. Lilly touches the window and then locks it slowly. Afterwards she took a deep sigh of relief and closes the curtains as well. She turns around and jumps up.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH"
She then slapped as hard as she can.
"Is that how you greet your girlfriend and soon-to-be wife?"
Lilly then realizes who's in front of her.
"Oh, hi Maddie. I'm sorry I was startled. What are you doing here?"
Lilly still feels embarrassed about the whole situation.
"You didn't respond to my calls for five hours and then I get a call back that you're injured and tired? How could I not be here and check up on you?"
Lilly felt guilty again because of this.
"You shouldn't have ignored your duties as queen just for me you know?"
Maddie raised an eyebrow afterwards and then walks towards to Lilly.
"You gotta be shitting me right? You are my top priority. I don't care what happens to my kingdom. As long as you are safe, that's what matters. This is all because I love you, you know?"
Lilly then thinks deeply. She feels guilty and embarrassed about this whole situation and wants to make it up to her.
"Let me make it up to you. Let's have a girls night out with me, you and your sister."
Maddie liked that idea but then wondered why her sister specifically.
"Why my sister?"
Maddie thinks Lilly might be looking at her sister in a weird way but in reality she just wants to bond with them both.
"She was nice to me and I want to hang out with both of you."
"Well I'm pretty sure my sister will agree but sadly I can't. I have too many things to do tomorrow. I'll swing by when I can alright?"
"Alright that's understandable."
They both sleep on the same bed but Maddie leaves early and Lilly woke up with a note. "Good morning my sleeping beauty. I hope you have a nice outing with my sister today."
Lilly remembers about it and heads there. She does first have to ask permission and then tell her brother and all of that. After she's done with everything she leaves and went to the Redwing Kingdom to pickup Margaret or Maggie for short.
"Maggie! I'm here!"
"Well I'm ready, I have my handbag and everything so you're actually at the perfect timing."
Afterwards Maddie walked in on them.
"Hey, stay safe and have a good time okay? I'll catch up when I can."
They both hug her and left. They did some fun things like going to a theme park and all of that. They even went shopping spree but I don't think Lilly liked it. They went to a bar afterwards.
"Have you tried one of these before?"
Maggie asks as she hands her out a wine
"No I haven't, this would probably be my first time."
Lilly replies
"Well I'll happily take your alcoholic virginity away."
They both laugh after that joke but as soon as Lilly touched the glass she fainted and sweated a lot.
"Lilly!? Lilly!"
