Tao Miao glanced at Nan Sichen and walked over to the elderly Mrs. Nan, sitting to her left. She reached for Mrs. Nan's arm and affectionately called out, "Grandma."
"Chenchen, come over here too," Mrs. Nan continued to beckon Nan Sichen. He walked over with measured steps but did not sit down.
His tall, erect figure stood there, blocking all the light in front of him.
Tao Miao looked at him and said, "Brother, sit down. When you stand like that, it's really pressuring both Grandma and me."
"Chenchen, sit down and talk with Grandma for a while," Mrs. Nan patted the seat to her right, indicating for Nan Sichen to sit next to her.
He pressed his lips together, took a few steps forward, and sat down on Mrs. Nan's right.
Tao Miao happily took a grape, picked one off for Mrs. Nan, and then offered another one to Nan Sichen's lips.
Mrs. Nan happily opened her mouth and ate it, eyeing Nan Sichen keenly.
