A/n: Another chapter with a week??? Am I on a roll or what? Anyway, I think I'm back to writing so that's good, more chapters! RWBY made me get back into writing, and honestly, it's funny. I probably will make an RWBY fanfic eventually, anyway. Peace.

TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF RAPE, IF YOU'RE UNCOMFORTABLE, PLEASE SKIP TO THE END, THERE'S A SUMMARY OF THE CHAPTER.

Edo Japan Arata Hiroyuki is referred to as Hiroyuki. Reincarnated Arata Hiroyuki is referred to as Arata.

The Chronicles of Arata Hiroyuki. Date of issue: May 13th, 1921.

Diary Log 4, Day 1341, Year 1862

'He was a mysterious fellow, it was some time after the meeting with Him. However, Yuuto Fujimiya proved to be the opposite of what Lord Riko said he was. It was natural what I was going to do, despite the warning from Him.'

The village was, for the most part, unaware of what had happened not even that long ago. However, the smell of death permeated the air, and pools of blood were all around. Once they were done with the burials, they silently made it to the inn. As they sat, the room was filled with tension.

Their battle wasn't long ago and it reflected on each of their faces. Souji Okita had a blank expression, she was dealing with her internal struggles. It was her first battle and first kill, it weighed heavily. Kondo Isami had furrowed eyebrows and seemed to be in thought, Hijikata Toshizo was like his best friend.

Arata Hiroyuki just kept questioning inside his head more. The name Yuuto Fujimiya was a normal name during the time, but that brought a problem. His last name, Fujimiya, had piqued him as incredibly familiar. Arata felt it on the tip of his mind but had to leave it.

Yuuto Fujimiya was prompted by them to explain the story and began telling his story.

A few months ago, it wasn't like this. The relationship between me and Lord Riko was friendly and not hostile like now. He had helped previously before by caring for me as a child. I was abandoned by my parents at the age of 4 due to unknown reasons. Something about not having enough potential or whatever.

I didn't care and I most certainly didn't care about my parents.

Lord Riko had found me around the age of 5 and took me in. It was something that I'd repay when I could and as I grew, my life got better. At the age of 9, my potential for the sword was noticed by one of the samurai under Lord Riko. I was excited and found a way to repay him as a samurai.

The years had gone by and I was proving to be an excellent swordsman. I was better than all of the men under Lord Riko. While I was blindsided by my excitement over my skill, some were not so happy someone like me surpassed them. Especially since I was only 15 at the time.

They weren't very good as swordsmen or samurai, but being surpassed by a child hurt their ego. So they plotted against me as I found later by a friend who knew the real situation. The Lord had a few children, the important one in the story was their daughter. She was around my age at the time.

As I was a child and was taken in by the friendly Lord, I knew them all. Since they were the family of the man who took me in, I treated them with the same respect. I imagine that I'd serve them in the future and it was a prospect I was expecting. Despite that, Lord Riko deserved nothing but that, of my service.

Yet, all of that turned into a mess for me. The same people who were jealous, and envious of me had enacted their plan. It was something repulsive and despicable, they raped the daughter. Someone who I believed to be my friend told me the Lord's daughter requested me.

I went to where she resided and saw something that would stick with me. On the ground was the daughter, she was half-dressed. Her face held no emotion as many things were wrong, bruises, marks, and a sign of struggle. The chest was exposed as was the lower half, as a liquid came from her private part.

A rage began to build inside as the reality of the situation became more apparent. She was raped, and it was clear they didn't care at all if someone found her. She was left on the ground for all to see, in the view of rage. I was tussled to the ground from behind and fell near the daughter.

As I struggled against the attacker, my garments were coming loose during the scuffle. It was something I hadn't noticed and only hours after the situation did I. I was pushed even closer to the daughter with a kick. The attacker left hurriedly after that as I stood up and looked for them.

While fervently looking for the attacker, the door opened, and walked in Lord Riko. His eyes shook and a multitude of emotions ran through him. In his mind, he came to his daughter, for a talk. It wouldn't be serious, have a conversation with her and leave like any other day.

That wasn't the situation that happened; he walked in normally. What he saw had broken the man in immense fury, rage, and sadness. The boy he had taken in since the young age of 5 was in loose clothes, with marks of a struggle and wrinkled clothes. Nearby was his daughter.

She was in an even worse state, it took a few seconds for the scene to register. Once it did, Lord Riko's face went through a multitude of emotions. The more prominent were rage, anger, and sadness, but the anger won. He called for the guards and I was forced to flee.

I knew I couldn't even think to reason with him, the way it looked. From his perspective, it was undeniable what happened. No chance to reason, no chance to plea, that's why I fled through the window. Rushing toward and jumping out, glass flying all around and falling to the ground.

When I reached the ground, my clothes were loosened even more. As I began to run, I fixed my clothes before running earnestly. There wasn't anything I could do, I knew that death was all that awaited. I was certain he was going to have my head and would do anything to get it.

Through the town, I went as many stared at me running. It was afternoon, people were out and the news hadn't even begun to spread. I was lucky, you could say, yet it could turn for the worse very soon if I stayed. Since all under Lord Riko were most likely informed of what I had supposedly done.

As quietly and fast as I could, I left the town with haste. I needed not to inform any person about where I would be heading as few people could be trusted. It was going to be a struggle yet, it was all I could do or think of. My life was mostly spent within the town and Lord Riko's estate.

I wasn't prepared for this, but I'll be damned if I don't survive and prove my innocence. The first few days were hard, learning and at the same, experiencing, living in the wilderness. In no shape was I prepared for this type of living and in no way conditioned. It was a miracle that I managed to survive.

The nearby town was a long way from where I previously resided. It was a week after the rape that I arrived, news hadn't reached here. I didn't have much money, but I knew someone who could help. He was from the previous town but moved for unknown reasons.

With his help and some work, I'd managed to get everything I could need. A sword that would be the most important for me, money, and rations. As the news spread around the surrounding towns and villages, I made my way down far south. Lord Riko was persistent when it came to his family.

The months passed and went, and due to them not being able to find me. I became complacent, it was a huge mistake. A man had spotted me, they were a scout for Lord Riko as they were already on the way to the south. He received a letter from Lord Riko, informing him of what happened.

Since they knew the general direction I was going, the forces of Lord Riko followed. As for the scout, they sent a letter to the roaming force. The next day, since it was night when I arrived the previous day, was when everything went wrong. I thought the roaming force was more than a day's worth away.

My assumption was wrong, while it was true they didn't know the exact location. It was close enough that they could arrive within a day. When I went out into the village, I made myself ready to leave. That's when it happened, steel flashed and instinct was barely enough to save me.

However, it wasn't with harm, my shoulder had taken the blow. Turning around and recognizing the emblem of Lord Riko, I ran. I held the wound as I ran, trying to stop the bleeding as much as possible. In the hurry of running away, all I had was some money and my sword.

The first hour was hell, I managed to evade them but my wound had started to get worse. If I didn't get medical attention soon, I was prone to get an infection. My attention shifted, I was in a forest, and it was night. I stood still and then heard multiple footsteps and voices.

They had found me, perhaps it was the blood leaking, but I didn't pay much attention. I started running, the sound alerted them as they pursued me. It was terrible, exhausting and overall the worse, eventually I ran into a small village. It was there where I found my salvation.

I ran into a clearing near a house, there was a group of four, three males and one female. They didn't look like they were related to the force from Lord Riko and were bystanders. It was unusual when they came to my defense without any reason. The leader of the force spoke to them.

My body was tense, my mind a mess, and fidgety while they spoke. I saw two of them tense at the mention of Lord Riko and the rest didn't seem to show any reaction. They denied handing me over, and I was filled with relief, letting me breathe. The leader didn't like that and held a frown.

It was tense, the situation would only end up with a battle. Whether I was turned in now, the group of four wouldn't be left unharmed. As the seconds continued to pass by, each person got into a stance. I did as well, sadly still restrained by my wound as I prepared myself.

A second later, the fight began, three going to the lone female, one toward the taller male. The second tallest was engaging the leader, while two had gone toward me. None had gone to the lone man who kept his guard up still. As I faced the two, they were familiar.

Comrades of a time before, with all of what has happened and what I've been through. It feels like an eternity since then, but in reality, only a few months. The two most likely held a vendetta against me, during the time spent on the run. I have killed some of the men under Lord Riko.

With a solemn, nostalgic even, face I faced the two, wishing things could've been different. As the night went on, all of them eventually lost and died. It was saddening, but I pushed on regardless, the pain of the shoulder taking off the thoughts. The man who hadn't been attacked at the start helped me.

His name was Kondo Isami and helped me patch my wound as the stress of everything didn't do me any favors. The leader, from what I've seen, went to grab tools for burial. I hadn't gotten his name yet, but I respected him, these men only followed orders and were my companions at one point.

The tall man was Hijikata Toshizo, while Isami was with me, he was with the female of the group. Her name was Souji Okita, the niece of the man who left to grab the tools. She stared at the corpses with a blank expression, I imagine it was her first time for this type of stuff. It was understandable.

Soon, the man earlier had brought the tools toward where Toshizo placed the bodies. Before we began the burials, he spoke with his niece. Comforting words for what was her first kill, along with some other stuff. It wasn't long before finished and headed to the inn where we currently sat at.

Arata had many questions but held off from asking until Fujimiya finished his story. It was sad and rage-inducing, a poor girl had been raped. As a man got wrongfully convicted of doing the deed, it was so similar to his previous life. He felt sorry for the man, most would've been broken.

Yet, he never did and strived for a chance to prove his innocence. A noble idea and Arata wanted to support him, but there remained the question. Should he? He could never know whether this affected history in the long run. The warning of EMIYA reappears once again.

As he finished his thoughts, he spoke out what he intended to do.

SUMMARY

The chapter starts with the aftermath of the previous one and in the inn. Once there, the mysterious man reveals his name as Yuuto Fujimiya who begins a story. This name piqued Arata Hiroyuki's interest due to the familiarity, however, that is put on the back of his mind.

The story is about why everything and the battle before began, a few months ago. He is an orphan and abandoned by his parents, at the age of 4. A year later, he is picked by Lord Riko and is eternally grateful for the man. Four years later, his skill for the sword was found and was taught by Lord Riko samurai retinue.

Fast forward years later, and at the age of 15 is the best out of everyone. While he was excited, many were envious and jealous of his skill. A plot brewed and enacted not long after, blaming a heinous crime on Yuuto Fujimiya. He was called to Lord Riko's daughter's room, and found her on the ground, in the aftermath of SA.

Yuuto Fujimiya was tackled from behind and in the process, his clothes loosened. The attacker left and Yuuto Fujimiya found himself with loose clothes and signs of a struggle. Lord Riko arrived moments later and found him in that position along with his daughter next to him.

Fury build-up in Lord Riko as Yuuto Fujimiya fled the scene as he knew he couldn't explain himself, as death only awaited him. He left town and arrived in the next and got help from there. Survival was hard but managed to live for the next few months on the run.

A slip-up occurred and he was found, a wounded shoulder restrained him. He ran along a forest with a force behind him. Reaching a little village, there he planned to make a final stand but unexpectedly was helped. Along with the unknown people, (Arata Hiroyuki, Souji Okita, Hijikata Toshizo, and Kondo Isami) he fended off the force. Kondo Isami helped him with the wound as Arata Hiroyuki grabbed tools.

After the burials, they headed toward the inn as Arata Hiroyuki questioned a lot in his mind before making a decision.

SUMMARY END

OMAKE

Qrow Branwen was tired and finally finished the mission Oz gave him. Despite giving crap to the man, Ozpin, he would be eternally grateful for the man. He and his wayward, ungrateful, terrible sister had been given magic by the man. The ability to into birds, a crow, and a raven specifically.

The irony wasn't lost on him, since he becomes a raven and his sister a crow. Oz got a lot of feedback that day, but Oz just smiled and didn't mind it. He did it for a reason that he kept to himself, although Qrow thought otherwise. It was just a whim he thought as he sighed, entering a familiar house.

It was a special house, very special, with the history behind it, it was no surprise he loved and hated it. The love stems from the time in Team STRQ, all of them had a stake in the house. From where Tai and Raven were together, from which the hate stems. It was a train of thought he didn't wish to talk about.

He entered the house, expecting to see two little girls, his nieces, come run at him. There was no sound and that immediately worried him to think something was wrong. At once, he started checking around and saw no one, only Tai in his room, still wailing in sorrow.

While he was making sure Tai was alright, he didn't notice the front door opening. Three small kids had walked in, one frightened and the other two not so much. One was barely a toddler and the other was a special case, but something to unravel for later. Qrow was walking down the stairs when he heard voices.

He saw his nieces, Yang and Ruby, and another kid as well. What alarmed him was the sword that was sheathed and on the kid's back. After a questioning session with the kid, away from the other two. The kid's name was Arata Hiroyuki, and the sword's name was [REDACTED].
