Chapter 155: Another Child
"Setsuna," called Uzukage. "What is this form? I can feel your chakra is a lot stronger than before."
Setsuna looked at his transformation and noticed some similarities with Naruto's Baryon Mode, but it was different. He appeared stronger with the red cloak instead of the golden one that he first transformed.
He knew about Baryon Mode, a technique so powerful it could defeat Jigen, which even the normal KCM and Susanoo modes couldn't manage to defeat that villain.
However, there was a catch. Baryon Mode could only be used once, and it required Kurama to be willing to activate it. Afterward, Kurama would leave the Jinchuuriki's body or another word he will fall into a sleep and eventually will coming back as a normal tailed beast, this happen when he was with Uzumaki Naruto.
But this power wasn't accessed with Kurama's help, and the form was slightly different from Baryon Mode. Using his intelligence, Setsuna realized this was the true power of Kurama Mode, one that Naruto couldn't tap into in the original series.
"This is the true power of a Jinchuuriki," said Setsuna, though he was still a bit unsure. He wanted to ask Jarvis and the system but hesitated with Uzukage standing in front of him.
"Father, I want to test my Susanoo. I feel like it's going to grow even larger," said Setsuna, distancing himself from Uzukage.
"Susanoo!" Setsuna unleashed his full power, and as he predicted, his Susanoo grew even larger than before. It stood at least 1,100 meters tall. Not only that, but it had also taken on a new color, a combination of red chakra and blue Susanoo.
"Setsuna!" Uzukage's eyes widened. "Why did your Susanoo grow so big?"
Setsuna smirked and retracted his power before walking back to Uzukage.
"My assumption was correct. If my chakra reserves increase, my Susanoo will grow even larger and stronger than someone with smaller chakra reserves," said Setsuna. "The Nine-Tails' power increased my chakra reserves by at least five times."
Uzukage understood what he meant. He could feel the immense chakra emanating from Setsuna in his Kyuubi mode. It was so vast that even Hashirama's chakra paled in comparison.
"Setsuna, why didn't you seal the Kyuubi into your body earlier?" asked Uzukage.
"Well, there's a side effect I've been trying to avoid," replied Setsuna.
"What side effect?" Uzukage asked, confused.
"Because of the influence of the Nine-Tails' chakra, my child will most likely have whiskers on their cheeks," replied Setsuna.
"What? Really? How do you know that?" asked Uzukage.
"Oh, it's a secret," said Setsuna with a grin.
"Why are you keeping secrets from your father-in-law?" Uzukage teased.
"Hahaha, okay, Father. The Nine-Tails is the strongest of all the tailed beasts, so my child might inherit the whiskers. But it's just a theory," replied Setsuna.
---Hyuga Bloodline---
"System, if I remember correctly, isn't Uzumaki Himawari half Hyuga and doesn't she have the Byakugan? Why don't I have it?" asked Setsuna.
"Your previous reward was Uzumaki Himawari's chakra, not her bloodline. That's why you don't have the Byakugan. Her chakra is special because Himawari can unleash a more powerful version of Kurama's chakra, she was perfect Jinchuuriki compared to Naruto," the system replied.
"What? In which episode was that shown?" asked Setsuna.
"You were sent here before Blue Vortex was released, so you don't know about it. Himawari's chakra is more suited to being a Jinchuuriki compared to Naruto's," replied the system.
"Wait, can you access the internet from my previous world?" asked Setsuna.
"Yes, I can," the system replied.
"Good. Can you look up the One Piece manga? I want to know how it ends. Has Luffy become the Pirate King?" asked Setsuna.
"Yes, but no. This function is only to help you understand your powers, not for personal indulgence," said the system.
Setsuna frowned, and the system found his reaction amusing.
"Fine," sighed Setsuna.
Suddenly, Setsuna felt Kurama's breath. The fox had finally awakened, and he focused his chakra to enter the place where the Nine-Tails was sealed.
The space inside was much larger, with a jungle and a river. Before, Setsuna had tried to decode the Nine-Tails' card seal and had only managed to decode 50% of it. Now, he finally understood the remaining 50%.
The perfect Jinchuuriki card creates a sealed place that looks beautiful, with a fake sun that looks like a screen, waterfalls, and jungles, making it a suitable environment for Kurama.
"How are you, Kurama?" smiled Setsuna.
"It feels good. At first, I thought I had been transferred to another place, but when I focused my chakra, I realized I was still inside your body," said Kurama.
"Yeah, I didn't want you to get bored in there. Glad you like it," replied Setsuna.
"Is this your sealing jutsu?" asked Kurama.
"Yes. Why? Don't you like it?" replied Setsuna.
"It's good, but if you could add more animals, it would be even better," said Kurama.
"Sorry, Kurama. Other animals are too weak to survive here," replied Setsuna.
"It's fine. Compared to being captured by those damn Otsutsuki, living here is much better," grinned Kurama.
---Pregnancy---
"Congratulations, host. Your wife Uzumaki Akari is pregnant," said the system.
"What was that voice?" Kurama's question could be heard inside Setsuna's mind.
"That's the same system I showed you earlier, like Jarvis," replied Setsuna.
"Oh, the robot thing? So what does it do for you?" asked Kurama.
"It gives me rewards every time my wife gets pregnant or I have a new child," replied Setsuna.
"Oh? I don't understand humans," said Kurama.
"Hahaha, because you're just a big furball of chakra," laughed Setsuna.
"Does your 'beast' hear my voice?" asked the system.
"What? Beast? I am the mighty Kurama!" said Kurama indignantly.
"Did you hear what Kurama said, system?" asked Setsuna.
"No, I can't hear him, but based on your reaction, you're talking to someone," replied the system.
"I'm not 'someone.' I'm the mighty tailed beast," Kurama interjected.
"Kurama is upset. He's not just a simple beast—he's the mighty tailed beast," Setsuna relayed to the system with a grin.
