Master Shigara gripped his blade, eyes fixed on the sky above. Space itself was breaking open, tearing like fragile cloth. From the rifts poured monstrous creatures—grotesque forms with stretched limbs, eyes glowing like burning embers of pure Malice.
"Everyone, stand your ground!" he roared, his voice booming across the battlefield.
Behind him, rows of warriors tightened their grips, many of them trembling. This wasn't just a monster descent—it was an invasion. For many, it was the first time facing this kind of nightmare.
Master Shigara moved like a storm—graceful, powerful, deadly. Every swing of his blade cut down another beast. His precision and control were unmatched, turning him into a beacon of hope for his warriors. Seeing him fight gave them the courage to charge in, blades raised high, hearts pounding with both fear and fire.
But the battle was chaos. Screams echoed, blood splattered across the dojo walls, and the ground trembled with each clash. Many brave souls fell.

Miles away, deep within the walls of Gunai Mansion, the Hunter Bureau's alarm screamed through the hallways. Red lights flashed. Operators scrambled. Screens showed live footage of monster descents across the map.
A loud, sharp voice came through every hunter's device:
> "Attention all available hunters: Mobilize immediately. Prioritize zones at coordinates 122°114, 133°125, 867°456, 563°721, 368°231. This is not a drill."
Thanks to advanced detection systems placed in various clan territories, the Bureau could pinpoint monster descents the moment they occurred.
In the Wun Village, home to the Ryu Clan and the famous Tiger Guild, elite hunters quickly responded. The Tiger Guild, one of the strongest in the known world, focused on defending their territory and nearby zones.
Among them was Toma, a Sigma-ranked hunter known for his speed and sharp swordsmanship. He was walking along the western coastline with his close friends Yuki and Rein, both powerful hunters from different guilds. The three shared a rare bond—on their fifteenth birthday, they were all ranked as Sigma-class hunters by the Bureau. That day became known as the "Triple Sigma Miracle."
As they walked, laughing and exchanging tales of their latest raids, their devices beeped almost in sync. They shared a glance—battle was calling.
Toma's eyes narrowed as he scanned the list of breached zones. His heart sank.
> Kami Clan Dojo…
That was where he trained. Where he grew. And he knew—knew—they didn't have the strength to fend off a full-scale monster assault.
His voice was tight. "Yuki, I need your help. My dojo—"
But Yuki cut him off, his expression hard. "You know I can't. Orders from the Raven Guild. I'm an S-rank, but I can't disobey."
His back glowed, two massive, feathered wings burst from Yuki's back. With a gust that kicked up dirt and leaves, he took to the skies.
I'm sorry, Toma. Another time," he said before vanishing like a shooting star.
"Tsk," Toma muttered, not in anger, but understanding.
He clenched his jaw, fists tight. But before he could say a word, Rein stepped forward.
"I'll go with you."
Toma looked at him, smiling.
"Thank you… my friend."
Rein simply nodded, already drawing a glowing teleportation circle beneath them. He made several hand signs, and with a burst of light, they vanished. Ignoring their respective orders.
In the blink of an eye, they reappeared—high above the Kami Clan Dojo.
---
The ground shook with every monstrous step. Screams echoed through the building as blades clashed and metal rang out.
Inside the dojo, young students stood frozen. Some held their swords tightly, others were trembling so hard they could barely speak.
Jin, gripped his blade tightly, his thoughts swirling.
> What's happening out there…? Why is it so loud?
"What the hell is going on?" one student whispered.
"How should I know?" another replied, sweat dripping from his chin.
"Let's just—" He didn't finish.
The ceiling cracked, then shattered, as a group of monsters burst in—raining down like demons from the sky.
The students screamed.
"So that's… a monster?" one student said, his voice trembling.
There's no way we're beating that!" another shrieked, bolting for the exit—only to be bisected in an instant by a two-faced horror with fangs like daggers. Blood sprayed across the walls. The thing looked almost human—almost—but horribly wrong.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!" a girl screamed, collapsing. "He killed him! He cut him in half!"
Panic spread like wildfire.
"I don't want to die! I—I haven't even touched a girl yet!" one boy babbled, barely holding his sword. It slipped from his hands, clanging against the floor like a death knell. He crumpled, breathing hard, eyes wide.
"Is this it? Am I gonna die here…?" he muttered.
"Everyone stand your ground!" Kira barked, stepping forward, his eyes blazing. "If we fall here, we die!"
"I'm an S-rank hunter too… I just haven't awakened my powers yet!" he told himself, teeth gritted. He raised his katana. "There's no way I'm dying here!"
The two-faced monster sneered and screeched.
> "KILLLL THEMMMMM ALLLLLL!!!"
> "OURRR ORRDERSSSS!!!!"
It lunged, followed by others.
From the back, Baku narrowed his eyes. He watched, murmuring under his breath. "Will I have to use it...? No. Not yet... I'd rather keep it hidden…"
A monster shot toward Jin with terrifying speed.
> It's fast—! Jin thought, raising his sword.
Too slow.
The blade flew from his hands. Claws tore toward him.
> Is this it? My boring life, over in an instant...?
Time slowed. His thoughts spiraled.
> I never knew who I was. Who my parents were. I always thought one day I'd find them… Shinra, I guess this is it. I wish I could've seen you again… Ahhh what a short life. Jin swallowed his saliva as if waiting for his last breath.
Everything froze.
But just as the claws were about to hit, the monster exploded into green mist, blood splashing onto Jin's face.
He stood there, stunned.
"What… what just happened?" he gasped.
Then more monsters fell, cut cleanly by a blur of light.
instantly, swords sliced clean through monsters. Blades of light and flashes of magic filled the dojo.
Above them, a voice echoed:
"Hey! Stand back—we've got this!"
Floating above, Rein held his staff aloft, glowing with magical runes. Toma landed beside Jin, blade glinting, eyes fierce.
"It's two of the triple miracle hunters!,Toma the Light-Blade Hunter! And Rein—the Heavens Mage!"
One student gasped, slumping with relief.
"We're saved…"
