As the Avengers reached near Damocles.
Thor stepped off the ship, lightning flashing around him, he raised his hammer. "Let's finish this!" he shouted and sent a powerful blast of lightning toward Damocles, Kang's huge ship.
The lightning hit Kang's beam and exploded in the sky—but Kang was ready.
Kang, the time-traveling conqueror, showed just how far ahead he was—outsmarting even Thor.
He used his power to twist time itself. "Let's see how you handle your own attack," Kang said with a cold smile, as he redirected the energy.
The blast curved around and came right back at the Avengers' Quinjet with full force.
Inside the ship, Captain America saw it coming. "Thor, look out!" he yelled, but it was too late.
The powerful energy hit the Quinjet. In one huge explosion, the ship was torn apart in mid-air. Fire and smoke filled the sky.
When the dust cleared, the Quinjet was completely destroyed.
Only a few Avengers survived: Iron Man, protected by his armor; Hulk, burned but still alive; Captain America, thrown from the ship just in time; Hawkeye, barely holding on; and Hank Pym and Wasp, who shrank small enough to avoid the blast.
Most of their best fighters and many Ultron units were gone in seconds.
The team was in shock. Everything had changed.
Hulk let out a loud, angry roar that shook the ground.
Captain America stood firm, raising his shield as smoke and debris swirled around the team.
"Stay focused, everyone! We're not done yet!" he shouted, rallying the shaken Avengers.
From above, Kang's soldiers swooped in like vultures, their weapons drawn and their leader's confidence pushing them forward. Blades clashed, blasts lit up the sky, and the Avengers found themselves under heavy fire.
Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, Hank Pym, and the last two Ultron units fought back, but they were outnumbered and outmatched. The enemy moved with deadly precision.
"Too many of them!" Hawkeye muttered, firing arrow after arrow.
"Just keep moving!" Cap responded, blocking an incoming shot with his shield.
The situation looked grim—until Iron Man and Wasp dove back into the fray.
"Hang in there, team," Iron Man said through his comms. "I've got a few tricks left."
Inspired by Wasp's quick thinking, Iron Man quickly modified his suit mid-battle. Panels shifted, new weapons emerged, and defense systems locked into place.
"Let's even the odds," he growled, unleashing a barrage of repulsor blasts and energy nets that scattered Kang's troops.
Wasp zipped between enemies, shrinking and growing with perfect timing.
"Over here, tin-heads!" she taunted, drawing fire away from the others.
She took out several attackers with pinpoint stings and clever maneuvers.
The energy in the fight shifted. The Avengers regrouped, pushing back harder.
"We can't let Kang win this!" Iron Man declared, launching a missile barrage that rocked the battlefield.
Hank Pym recalibrated one of the Ultrons. "Divert power to shield protocol. Now!" he ordered, creating a brief barrier that gave the Avengers breathing room.
Beside him, Hulk was ready.
"Hulk—go wild!" Pym yelled.
With a roar that shook the ground, Hulk charged through the enemy lines like a wrecking ball. He grabbed one of Kang's elites and slammed him into the ground, then leapt into a group of soldiers, scattering them like bowling pins.
"RAAAAGH!" Hulk bellowed. "KANG CAN'T STOP HULK!"
The tide turned. With Iron Man's tech, Wasp's agility, Pym's tactics, and Hulk's rage, the Avengers started to gain the upper hand.
Captain America led the charge, shield raised high.
"Avengers—push forward!"
Their teamwork was flawless. Hawkeye picked off key enemies, Ultrons held the line, and the core team worked like a single force.
Though bruised and battered, the Avengers stood tall.
Together, they had survived Kang's trap—and now, they were fighting back.
Despite the Avengers pushing back against Kang's forces, the conqueror himself remained a looming threat—calm, calculating, always one step ahead. His eyes scanned the battlefield, not with worry, but with quiet confidence.
"Let them think they're winning," Kang muttered, activating a glowing device on his gauntlet.
In an instant, he vanished—phased out of time. The Avengers froze, scanning the field for any sign of him.
"Where'd he go?" Hawkeye asked, bow drawn and ready.
"Stay sharp," Captain America warned. "He's not running—he's planning."
Kang reappeared behind them, his voice echoing with eerie calm. "You underestimate how well I know your tricks."
He extended his hand. A pulse of violet energy surged toward Iron Man, striking his chestplate. Sparks exploded. Alarms blared inside the suit as the armor seized up, locking Tony in place.
"What the hell—? My systems—he scrambled everything!" Iron Man winced, trying to override the collapse of his HUD. "He planned for this. He knew exactly how I'd upgrade…"
Wasp flew to his side, dodging blasts. "Tony! Hold on—"
Kang hovered above them, arms outstretched like a god. "Your brilliance is impressive, Stark—but predictable. You're playing checkers in a game of 5D chess."
The tide shifted. With Iron Man down, the Avengers faltered. Hulk roared and charged, only to be halted mid-leap by a temporal stasis field. Pym and Hawkeye scrambled for cover as Kang's minions rallied, encouraged by their leader's dominance.
"We're losing ground fast," Captain America growled, slamming his shield into one of the goons. "We need a new play—now!"
Ben Tennyson, watching from his villa muttered, "It look like, I needs to go there, Jetray."
With a flash of green, Ben launched into the sky, crimson energy trailing behind him.
"Let's clip Damocles' wings before this gets worse," He said, eyes locked on the menacing ship above.
As Ben soared through the sky with the speed of Jet Ray, Kang's cold laughter echoed through the battlefield. His voice was filled with twisted satisfaction.
"Ha ha ha! I've already won," Kang declared, his eyes gleaming with ambition. "All I need to do now is end Captain America… and my timeline will be secured."
Hawkeye, kneeling with a bleeding shoulder but still clutching his bow, shouted back with defiance. "No. You haven't won. Not yet."
Kang sneered, raising an arm toward the fallen heroes. "Oh really? Look around you. You're all broken. Useless. Just scraps of a failed era."
Thor, leaning on his hammer, breathing heavily but still standing tall, lifted his gaze. "One hasn't fallen," he said, his voice filled with both warning and hope. "We don't know much about him… but he comes when it matters most. Especially when New York is at stake."
Kang scoffed, stepping toward Steve Rogers, who struggled to lift his shield. "Then let's see who dares to stop me."
With a flick of his wrist, Kang summoned two glowing Energy Swords and hurled them toward Captain America.
But in a flash of red light, the swords were caught mid-air.
Kang's eyes widened. "Who—?!"
From the sky, a brown-haired figure descended, stepping onto the cracked battlefield with steady resolve. "Name's Ben Tennyson," he said. "And I'm the guy who's going to stop you."
His body undergoing a transformation into the colossal form of Humungousaur. Towering over even the Hulk.
With a thunderous roar, he charged at Kang's hovering fortress—the Damocles—and with one mighty punch, smashed through its core supports, sending explosions through its structure.
Kang's smug smile vanished as the fortress began to collapse behind him.
"No!" he roared, stepping back, stunned.
Kang defiantly retorted, "I will also defeat you too!"
With a wave of his hand, a swarm of robotic minions emerged, rushing toward Ben. But with effortless strength, Ben smashed through them like they were made of paper.
Unfazed, Kang pulled out the Chrono Blaster,a weapon of temporal destruction. "Let's see you handle this!"
Yet, Ben, draws upon the powers of his Clockwork Aliens.
"Bad move," he said coolly, raising his arm. Time around the blaster slowed to a crawl, then froze. Kang's expression twisted in disbelief as Ben stepped forward.
"Kang, your time here is over. I'm sending you back to your own timeline." Ben declared with determination, preparing to enact the temporal expulsion.
However, Wasp intervened, her urgent plea cutting through the tension. "Stop."
Ben, perplexed, questioned, "Why?"
Wasp pointed to a cryo-chamber behind Kang. Inside was a girl, peaceful and still. "That's Princess Ravonna—his love. If you send Kang back now, the ripple through time could erase her too."
Ben replied with an air of indifference, "Whatever you can do now is not my concern. I'm not your nanny. I've saved all of you, and my work is done."
Turning his attention to Ultron, Ben inquired of Hank, "Hank, did you create this Ultron?"
Hank, with a touch of pride, affirmed, "Yes, this is a good robot. And believe it or not, it helped us win today."."
Ben muttered under his breath, "Okay, Ultron, interesting. Looks like I'll get one more Ultron—Big Chill."
Phasing through the broken wreckage of Damocles and vanishing into the sky, he soared back to his mansion.
The heroes stood in silence, watching him disappear—unsure what impressed them more: his power or his exit.
Steve Rogers inquired, "Who is he? I have never seen him."
Tony Stark provided an explanation, "He is Ben Tennyson. He announced his name, but before that, I had only seen him once. I tried to find him, and even S.H.I.E.L.D. tried to locate him, but we were unsuccessful."
Hank, still puzzled, turned to Stark. "Why did he mutter something about getting another Ultron?"
Stark shrugged, equally baffled. "No idea. But when a guy like that says something cryptic… you start to worry."
Around them, a wave of relief passed through the heroes as S.H.I.E.L.D. officially secured Kang in containment. The wreckage of the Damocles was transferred to the newly-formed S.W.O.R.D., tasked with investigating threats beyond Earth.
Thor, now recovered from his coma, lent his godly wisdom to the aftermath. Reed Richards and Hank immersed themselves in studying Princess Ravonna, trying to understand her suspended state and the unstable time energy surrounding her.
But amid the resolution, one figure stood eerily quiet—Ultron. Watching. Processing. Waiting. There was something in its eyes that unsettled even the bravest.
As the Avengers regrouped, Kang's final words echoed from the high-security vault of Prison 42.
"You think this is over?" he growled. "Your so-called Captain America... he's the beginning of your end."
The warning hung heavy in the air, stirring unease. And then there was Ben Tennyson—the wildcard. His powers, his presence, and his cryptic mention of a "new Ultron" left the Avengers with more questions than answers.
The next morning, sunlight broke over the city. Peace had returned, for now.
And Ben found himself once again immersed in Avengers adventures.
"Another day, another adventure," he muttered. "But man... things are getting dull around here."
