A few seconds later, a huge Golden Feathered Eagle emerged from beneath the cliff. Its eyes were filled with a hint of greed as it searched the cliff top, seemingly looking for something tasty. When it realized it had been tricked and saw two humans instead, it smartly figured out it was being played and instantly became enraged, launching an attack on Yan Mo and Xia Yue.
Xia Yue and Yan Mo quickly dodged, and Yan Mo took out a crossbow and shot at the Golden Feathered Eagle. Though the eagle dodged, its wing was still grazed. The pain from the wound fueled its anger, making its attacks more frequent.
