The Cloud-rain Gu bug was awesome. It was said to be a strange insect living in the primitive forests of Miaojiang, golden in color, shaped like a bee, and extremely rare. Once found, a male and female pair of the bugs were confined in a box, nurtured with the pure yang essence of a man and the menstrual blood of a virgin. After ten years, the Gu would be complete.
After the Gu bugs were cultivated, a man and a woman would be locked in a secret room, and a male and female Gu bug were released. The Gu bugs, upon release, would seek their own hosts— the male bug yang in nature, the female bug yin, symbolizing the masculine and feminine. The male Gu, once it settled in a host, would certainly seek a man with strong yang energy to attach to, while the female bug would naturally choose a woman.
