Seeing dozens of warships turn back and then charge forward, Basil Jaak didn't know what they were up to.
"Eh, something's off, they seem ready for battle. I'm sitting on a Fire Cloud Island ship, they wouldn't really think I'm one of them and just start fighting without a word, would they?"
Feeling that something was amiss as dozens of warships surrounded him, Basil Jaak decisively walked onto the deck, tore down the Fire Cloud Island flag, and roared loudly: "I am back!"
His voice mixed with booming True Qi, his shout was heard by everyone on the dozen warships; instantly, everyone aboard erupted in ecstasy, Basil Jaak wasn't dead!
The warships converged, and Basil Jaak returned to Pedro's flagship, only to see everyone looking at him in surprise. He asked, "Why are you all staring at me like that?"
"Elder Jaak, who would have thought... you didn't die," Carmine laughed.
