The Demon Beasts in Dark Mountain were more lethal than the common Fierce Beasts.
However, Arm's performance greatly exceeded Basil Jaak's expectations. Not only was the creature fast and immune to the poison of the Demon Beasts, but his attacking prowess was also remarkably strong.
Apart from Arm's front paws being able to tear through the bodies of ordinary Demon Beasts, its sharp beak was exceedingly brutal, afraid of not even the spikiest of hedgehogs, and even its pair of fangs could be compared to those of ferocious wild wolves.
On their way deeper, the two encountered Demon Beasts and engaged in a series of killings. At first, the little guy would snatch the Beast Spirit Pills from the Demon Beasts, but presumably full after a while, left the Beast Spirit Pills "leftover" for Basil Jaak.
Basil Jaak was speechless, feeling like a beggar.
