"Friend, are you trying to steal something from us?"
Seeing Basil Jaak standing out alone, the four middle-aged men exchanged smiles, and one of them, with a face full of stubble, asked with a laugh.
"I'm not stealing from you; this Divine Beast was mine to begin with," Basil Jaak said with seriousness.
"This is my Divine Beast mount, it's resting here. Gentlemen, please be generous and let it go," he continued.
Another tall and thin middle-aged man sneered upon hearing this: "Just because you say it's yours, it is? Since when are things in the world so cheap? If you found a treasure, and I claim it's mine, would you obediently hand it over? Heh heh, what a joke. Young man, step aside. If you try to steal, we brothers won't be polite."
Basil Jaak's expression remained solemn as he said, "So, you're saying you won't be generous?"
