[Third Person's PoV]
Firestar pulsed with green energy, her body radiating like a celestial entity. Thanks to her self-power immunity, the Gamma rays weren't affecting her, but maintaining control was an immense strain.
"You ready, Bruce?!" she called out through gritted teeth, beads of sweat clinging to her temples.
Bruce gave her a thumbs-up, bracing himself.
"You better not die, you hear me!?" she shouted before thrusting her hands forward.
A deep green wave of energy surged through the air, distorting space itself as it rushed toward Bruce. The sheer force of the radiation rippled through the atmosphere.
The moment it engulfed his body, Bruce screamed—raw pain and anguish tearing from his throat. His eyes burned an intense, glowing green, but his skin began to peel away in snowy flakes, disintegrating into nothing. He clenched his teeth, his tears evaporating the instant they left his eyes.
Firestar gritted her teeth and pushed forward, continuing to blast him with Gamma radiation. Seconds stretched into eternity before the energy around her finally dimmed. Slowly, she descended, the power fading as she collapsed onto her knees.
Her breath came in harsh, wheezing gasps. Head bowed, sweat dripping from her brow, she stared down at her trembling hands.
With effort, she lifted her gaze, flipping her damp hair back from her face. "Bruce, you—"
The words died in her throat. The color drained from her face as her stomach twisted violently.
Before her stood a charred figure. If she hadn't known who she was with moments ago, she wouldn't have recognized the burnt husk before her.
Bruce's skin was completely gone, exposing blackened muscle fibers beneath. His lips had been seared away, leaving only the bare, skeletal outline of his mouth. Not a single hair remained on his head.
Firestar's stomach churned. Bile rose up her throat. She tried to hold it back but failed—doubling over, vomiting violently onto the ground. She coughed and gagged, body shaking as she emptied the contents of her stomach.
"Oh God… oh God, I killed him—UGH! Gag URGHHH!" she sobbed, heaving uncontrollably.
Then—she froze.
A low, guttural growl rumbled in front of her.
Slowly, she lifted her head, bile and saliva still dripping from her lips.
Bruce's burnt eyelids twitched—then snapped open, revealing two vibrant, pulsing green eyes brimming with raw power.
At the same time, an army of Ultron sentinels descended from the skies, darkening the horizon.
---
Everyone tensed as they took in the mechanical horde before them, uncertainty hanging thick in the air.
Then, unexpectedly, Felicia stepped forward. A slow, wicked grin spread across her face.
"I'm feeling lucky," she declared.
A crackling discharge of energy formed in front of her—a condensed ball of flickering power. She reached out, snatching it from the air. The energy warped, shifting into a golden coin. One side bore the head of a cat; the other, a feline's turned-back tail.
Felicia twirled the coin between her fingers, her grin widening. "I'm betting my speed, durability, and strength. Heads, It goes up. Tails, It goes down. Let's gamble!"
She flicked the coin into the air. It spun, catching the sunlight in shimmering flashes.
Of course, Felicia never gambled without a guaranteed win.
Her Spider-Sense—honed into an advanced cause-and-effect detector—flared to life. In that slowed-down moment, she saw exactly what would happen if she leapt up and caught the coin mid-air.
Time seemed to stretch as the coin descended. Felicia's eyes gleamed with a green glint.
In a blur, she snatched the coin and slapped it onto the back of her hand.
As she lifted her fingers, the cat's head faced up.
Felicia smirked, flashing her sharp teeth. "I win~"
Ultron scoffed, unimpressed. With a casual flick of his hand, he ordered the sentinels to attack.
At that moment, a silver aura exploded outward from Felicia. Her muscles tensed, bulging for a fraction of a second before compressing into lean power.
Then—she moved.
The ground beneath her cracked, a powerful shockwave rippling outward. In an instant, she vanished, her body turning into a silver blur.
A streak of silver light shot forward, racing toward the incoming sentinels.
The silver streak leaped into the air, using the Sentinels as springboards to propel herself from one to the next. She was everywhere at once, a blur of motion, and wherever she passed, explosions followed as the Sentinels were torn apart.
Meanwhile, Peter's eyes widened as Ultron's hand slashed toward him like a blade, glowing purple with the power of the Power Stone. He instinctively leaned back, his body bending until he was nearly flat on the ground. A sharp purple arc flashed through the air, slicing through debris in the distance, splitting it cleanly in two.
With one hand planted on the ground, Peter twisted, spinning his body around. His foot, glowing blue with energy, slammed into Ultron's torso. The impact caved Ultron's stomach inward, and Peter activated his repulsion technique, blasting Ultron backward through the air and into a cluster of his Sentinels.
As Peter shot up, his hand also ignited with bright blue energy. He became airborne and started to twirl rapidly, he whipped his arm, sending an orange-glowing stone streaking through the air. The Soul Stone spun like a shooting star, weaving between the Sentinels.
Gwen, mid-air, shattered a Sentinel in half before extending her hand. The stone landed perfectly in her palm just as Peter's voice rang out, "Don't let him get it!"
And so began a chaotic game of keep-away with the Soul Stone.
Meanwhile, Peter landed back on the ground, thrusting his arms out to the side. With a sudden SNIKT, two silver bone claws erupted from his wrists. He stared at them in amazement—they weren't coated in metal before, they looked like two pristine blades.
'This must be a gift from the Ancient One. I should thank her later,' he thought. Running his chi through the newly formed steel blades, they crackled with blue electricity, glowing like plasma sabers.
A shuddering laugh escaped him. "Hohohohoho!!" He grinned wildly, admiring the glowing blades. "I am so rocking with these!"
Electricity surged through his feet as he propelled himself into the air, streaking after Felicia.
The Sentinels fell apart in their wake, severed into three precise sections, the cuts glowing red-hot before detonating in fiery explosions. Two streaks—one silver, one blue—twisted through the sky like dancing ribbons, weaving through the mechanical army at impossible speeds. The battlefield erupted in a tapestry of destruction.
Peter and Felicia somersaulted mid-air, flipping backward as explosions detonated around them. At the peak of their rotation, they pressed the soles of their feet together in perfect synchronicity.
"Footsies!" they shouted in unison, grinning.
Using each other as leverage, they launched themselves in opposite directions, the force of their push ripping apart the surrounding firestorm. As they emerged from the chaos, Felicia's claws gleamed a brilliant silver, while Peter's bone claws flashed a crackling blue—both followed by another wave of Sentinels erupting into flames.
Peter's keen eyes caught sight of Ultron locked in combat with Harry. Just as Ultron lunged, Harry hurled the Soul Stone toward Captain Carter.
Carter snatched it mid-air, T'Challa covering her with precise blasts from his wrist blasters as he maneuvered on his rocket boots.
Harry drove an uppercut into Ultron, launching him off the ground. As Ultron plummeted back down, Harry was already waiting—a green ball of chi crackling in his palms.
The energy blast struck Ultron, sending him careening through the sky. Peter reacted instantly, flicking his wrist to fire a web at the airborne Ultron. He yanked himself forward, arm cocked back, his glowing blades aimed for the kill.
Ultron twisted mid-air, catching Peter's claws with his bare hands. With a furious roar, he wrenched them apart. A sickening rip echoed through the battlefield as Peter's bone claws tore free from his flesh.
Pain exploded through him. Blood sprayed into the air as Peter howled, his body too shocked to react. Ultron seized him by the throat, tossing aside the severed bones like discarded trash.
Meanwhile, Killmonger moved like a shadow in his black-and-gold panther suit, dodging and weaving between Sentinels. With a swift motion, he hurled the Soul Stone toward Romanoff.
Romanoff leaped onto a fallen Sentinel, using it as a springboard to catch the stone mid-air. Landing into a roll, she sprang forward, sprinting through the chaos. A Sentinel lunged at her, arms outstretched. She dropped into a slide, arching her back just enough to skim beneath its grasp. As she shot upright, she flicked the Soul Stone toward Gamora.
Gamora caught it mid-flight, immediately placing it into her device. The machine roared to life.
"We need to hold Ultron in place!" she shouted.
"That's easier said than done!" Thor bellowed, spinning Mjolnir before launching it into a cluster of Sentinels, obliterating them in one powerful arc.
Ultron, unfazed, still held Peter by the neck. His glowing purple hand pressed against Peter's chest.
A devastating blast from the Power Stone sent Peter crashing into the ground, carving a deep crater on impact. Blood erupted from his mouth, soaking through his mask. The sheer force of the energy pinned him in place, his body convulsing under its unyielding pressure.
Before anyone could react—
An earth-shattering roar tore through the battlefield.
"HUUUUULK!! SMAAAAAAAAASH!!!!"
The Hulk, his massive form radiating with pulsing gamma energy, came hurtling through the air. He collided with Ultron in a seismic impact, sending shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.
Ultron was launched across the sky, vanishing into the chaos.
The battle was far from over.
