Chapter 1 - Prologue

He stood at the edge of the building, the wind whipping his hair into a frenzy. The city lights blurred together below, a distant hum of activity that seemed to mock him. "๐‘‡โ„Ž๐‘–๐‘  ๐‘–๐‘  ๐‘–๐‘ก," he thought, the words echoing in his mind like a death sentence.

The door creaked open, and a figure stumbled out onto the rooftop. "๐˜ž๐˜ข๐˜ช๐˜ต, ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ'๐˜ต ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฐ ๐˜ช๐˜ต!" the man shouted, his voice hoarse with desperation.

He turned, his eyes locking onto the newcomer's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the only sound the wind rushing past.

The man took a step closer, his eyes pleading. "Please, don't leave me. ๐ผ ๐‘›๐‘’๐‘’๐‘‘ ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข."

He raised an eyebrow, a bitter smile twisting his lips. "You need me? Don't make me laugh."

The man's face contorted in anguish. "

He laughed, the sound cold and mirthless. "You're too late for that."

With a sudden, swift movement, he pushed off from the edge, the wind rushing up to meet him.

As he fell, the city lights blurred together, a kaleidoscope of color and sound. The wind roared past, a deafening scream that filled his ears.

Time seemed to slow, and for a moment, he felt a sense of weightlessness, of freedom.
