Venessa stood rooted as she watched Aleric, she had questions and she knew her guts were telling her the truth.
"Who are you?" She asked him a little bit confused. Aleric smiled at her. "I am Aleric Armani, who else do you think I am?" He shot a question back to her.
"Is it really your eye colour?" She blurted as she stared with awe in her eyes. His violet eyes, he was the only one she had met with similar eyes.
"I was born this way," Aleric answered being as patient as he could. He was not a patient man but he could make exceptions for her.
"I thought I was the only one born with this mutation," Venessa muttered under her breath, but it didn't skip Aleric's attention. Her eyes were zeroed on his similar ones.
"What do you want from me? Or rather I should ask who are you to me?" She asked him with her hands clenched by her side as she recall what she read from her mother's letter and the picture Jayden showed her of Esmeralda.
