Jiho leaned forward slightly, resting her chin on her palm as her piercing gaze drilled into Jihoon. "Wow," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "And here I thought I was the only crazy one in this house. But you, Mr. Jihoon… you've officially stolen the crown. Congratulations."
Jihoon froze for a moment, his hands clasped tightly behind his back as if they were shackled. A tremor ran through his fingers, but his face remained composed, serene even. Inside, however, his mind was a battlefield. What kind of lunatic designed these suffocating servant uniforms? he raged internally. Do they think we're mannequins?!
His jaw tightened as Jiho's smirk widened, clearly enjoying his visible discomfort. "Oh, come on now," she teased. "You look like you've got something to say. Don't hold back on my account. Is it more of your past-to-past-life wife nonsense? Or are you planning to reveal that you're actually an undercover prince cursed to serve me?"
