Chapter 5 - Too friendly.

"Fuck, that was quick," he frowned as he looked at the healed wounds. He was still far from his full health, but somehow he could breathe better and the pain was almost gone. It was a great help from - a human woman. He had to admit, it was the last thing he had expected. Don't embarrass yourself, be cool.

High orc ~ friendly

"I have nothing valuable enough to match your gift of life. Stay, I'll take care of you from now on," He said and scratched his elbow absentmindedly, while looking at her with obvious interest.

Anna blinked, still processing what had just happened. Her heart raced, not just from the rush of adrenaline.

She shot a quick glance at the bloody patch beside them, the dead strewn about like discarded toys. It felt absurd to even entertain the idea, but she couldn't deny that part of her, deep down, was intrigued. She swallowed hard, trying to find the right words, but nothing seemed to come out.

A companion? Someone to show her all the things she should know about the world, to introduce her to the game opportunities?

His gaze never left hers, unreadable but intense. There was something primal in the way he studied her, but with an odd gentleness, too.

"I'd say I'm offering you a fair deal. My protection and my care should be enough, right?"

Anna didn't think long, realizing that he might be offended if she refused his offer outright. If he really is calm and no longer wishes her death, she can be safer here than anywhere else in this dark forest filled with human bodies and monsters. She trusted her instincts and believed that staying here would keep her out of harm's way.

He was insanely strong, which made him the perfect companion for this night. And she decided to make good use of his offer.

A simple "Thank you, I will stay," was all she was able to mutter, still a bit shaken from the long run and near death from his very hands. The corpses were so close. She tried her best not to look again.

He remained quiet for some time, his gaze fixed on her nervous eyes wandering everywhere but him. After another moment, he finally spoke up, adjusting the golden jewel in his ear: "You can trust that I'll honor my word. I keep my promises. You can come closer."

He was a little confused by her lack of enthusiasm. She clearly said she wanted to stay with him, so why the hesitation?

"I'm not sure if I follow what you are trying to say?" In the tense silence, Anna's mind raced as she attempted to decode his intentions. The unspoken yearning in his eyes made her even more puzzled.

"You said you will stay. I'll do my best to satisfy you," he began slowly, as if he was trying to talk to someone retarded, and pointed at her lap. "You will like it. It would be a pity to waste a night like this," he added as he revealed his large teeth in a grinning smile.

She finally understood and wanted to laugh it off and refuse his offer, but that small voice in her head stopped her. She could imagine him between her thighs much more easily than any human who had ever tried to have his way with her. Anna hesitated, but she couldn't resist the temptation. She was a curious woman, after all.

She was not ashamed to use him as a shield against other users, yet exploiting his kindness like this felt wrong.

Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, realizing that her unintentional staring could easily be noticed.

"Just for the record… What exactly are you talking about?" Her eyes instinctively lowered, seeking solace in the ground beneath her feet. She forced herself to focus on anything else but the irresistible attraction towards that warrior.

His handsome face made her ignore all the blood and clay he was covered with.

"What am I talking about?" He frowned even more, unable to figure out why she was hesitating to accept such a one-sided favor, "I'll probably start by giving you head, you look tense, it might help break the ice, then-"

"I mean: I'm human. Is this even allowed? And what if someone sees us?" Anna jumped right into the beginning of his speech, wondering about the only thing she could think of.

"Is that what you are afraid of? Do you hear it? Complete silence. There is no one around, and I have no intention of exposing your body for others to see," as he spoke, his eyes roaming over her feminine form.

It had been such a long time since he had touched a woman and he couldn't wait to let his hands roam as well.
