Bernel City, the capital of the Kafuhoka region, was an important eastern stronghold of the already vanished nation when it was still part of the Posya Confederation.
It wasn't known for its commerce but was very much in line with the characteristics of the Kafuhoka region, being the heart of grain distribution and trade throughout the Continent, with a massive amount of grain transported monthly to various regions of the Continent.
Even during the most difficult moments of the decade-long war, the grain trade of Bernel City was never interrupted.
After all, before the northerners had sent their troops, this place was a major rear area supporting the war.
Many important figures from the Posya Confederation took refuge here. However, the sudden betrayal and entry into the war by the Nordtov Kingdom disrupted the local order to some extent, an impact that still hadn't wholly dissipated to this day.
