As the Maiden of Sorrow, Crystal was naturally immune to her magic. But the rest didn't have such gifts. Frost magic was believed to be the easiest to resist as an abundance of pills and herbs increased the resistance to cold by heating the body.
But to see a fire mage not just resisting his magic, but uniting with it was only possible for those who were Arvus and had taken a blessing of the Arvus!
The class was shocked. Even the teacher was surprised.
"You have completed the Magic Arvus Test?" Teravik was stunned.
"I have yet to report it, teacher. I have taken and completed the Skill Test of the Arvus. And surprisingly, I was gifted with a special skill. "
"Skill? Hmmm..." Crystal gave a suspicious look at the flames and how they danced on his hands.
