"Thanks, I guess I should store these and eat the cores... the sun will be up anytime soon, and I don't want Bel to worry." Ossa said as he started swallowing core after core.
A few minutes passed, and he had consumed the lot of the bunch, the only ones remaining being the cracked cores which had lost all of their mana.
" Enter " He thought, his arm pointed to the jackalopes' antlers as he tried to put them into his spatial bracelet.
To his surprise , the antlers did not disappear, " Mors, it's not working "

"Oh, okay, then I will take one and come for the rest tomorrow," he said as he took one and headed out of the central regions, his internal compass pointing to his master.

Ossa arrived at the alpha den, the golden rays of the sun peering through the horizon as it peeked its head.
" Where is she " Ossa thought, surprised not to find her outside.
He entered the den, finding no one in it, not even the nocturnal shadow wolves.
