Dongfang Ji smiled faintly, a glint of pleasure and determination flickering in his eyes.
"I certainly didn't come to this competition just to kill time; it's far too boring. After the contest is over, I'll tell you what you need to do for me."
Baili Xia caught the expression on Dongfang Ji's face and after thinking for a moment, appeared to realize something.
She smiled slyly, "Fine, as long as it's nothing against my conscience or immoral, I'll consider agreeing to your request."
"Consider?" Dongfang Ji arched an eyebrow. Wasn't she supposed to be certain about helping him?
"Who knows how difficult your 'favor' will be?" Baili Xia wasn't afraid he'd back out at the last minute.
Jin had asked him to come and help; helping him was just incidental. Even if she didn't assist, considering Jin's face, Dongfang Ji wouldn't really leave their basketball team in the lurch and just walk away today.
Dongfang Ji studied her clear, bright eyes and pursed his lips.
