The Dortmund players and fans watched in absolute dismay as the Uventus players celebrated with gusto on the sidelines, completely stunned out of their minds that they could not react for a few seconds after it had happened.
Their minds were not processing things fast enough.
They had been in the lead just about 45 minutes ago, but then all of a sudden Uventus not only equalized the scoreline, but they had now taken the lead ten minutes to the end of the game.
That wasn't the worst part either.
Due to the away-goal rule, Uventus now had the upper hand and even if Dortmund managed to score a goal to equalize, the game would still end with a Uventus win.
The only way out for them would be if they could somehow score at least two goals in the next ten minutes.
It was not an impossible task, but it was certainly a daunting one.
