Awakening from her slumber re'tzel narrowed her eyes a strong presence was approaching her nest
" interesting your not the normal prey that find themselves here." Her chelicerae banging her fangs together with every word she spoke " what are you."
Her voice echoed across her nest as what appeared to be a human entered, the hairs on her body stood up something was wrong very wrong
Laughter cascaded around the nest making the atmosphere more foreboding " I've been asked that a lot lately and honestly I'm not even sure anymore."
Her eyes glowed a sharp blue as she focused mana on them allowing her to peer at the creatures soul an what she saw left her stunned,it was a complete mess always changing nothing static like there were two or more forces fighting for control
But as she focused more she felt a familiar aura she hasn't felt in a thousand years making her understand the ture threat of the situation
" leave now creature of the void you are not welcome here!" Pulling out all the stops re'tzel poured most of her mana into the ground activating the rune that was her life's work since she found herself having to retreat to this underground town killing most of its residents forcing them to the surface
Covering the entirety of the nest a magic circle appeared the looked more primal in it's design, a second later spirits started to appear one by one some old others young, some were knight's or just a simple herbalist but one thing was in common they were all killed by the spider
"That's a new one guess I should expect that from a talking." Laughter once again filled the nest the unease grew in her hear as the creature didn't react to getting surrounded by hundreds of spirits under her control
Suddenly another sensation washed over her body " you showed me yours let me show you mine." She didn't understand what it meant until she noticed others spirits mixed with hers she didn't recognize
First it was couples, then dozens, then hundred finally his spirits out grew hers by two time " so many denied their peace." Although she summoned spirits she has killed at least they were aloud to rest, this was just wrong and sinner
" you must be destroyed." Re'tzel wasn't one to stand for others but what ever this creature was couldn't be allowed to live on
" that what im suppose to say." Commanding the spirits she ordered them to attack the invader of her home, rushing past the other spirits that did nothing to stop them they attacked they attacked all at once
A rectangular structure fell from the sky in front of the imposter human that wasn't what shocked the spider though, it was the creature hitting it sending the coffin flying at her at high speeds barely giving her enough time to skitter away using the webs covering her nest
" quick, this is why I hat fighting spiders." Movas fast as she could she appeared at the other end of the nest in a couple seconds
Looking back to where she just was she saw the intruder standing...no floating atop her webs holding some kind of pole that was crackling with lightning " how did..." it took her a moment to understand what she was facing
" star, you truly aren't from here...this can't stand you must die!." Screeching re'tzel know she could be passive in this fight if she had a hope of winning and went on the offensive

At the same time in Elise's office a small meeting was taking place " I still can't believe he left though." Lazza spoke up as her, Selena,birna,oda and Amelia waiting for Elise to join them
" you can't keep dwelling on it he will return." Selena comforted her friend who felt slightly responsible somehow " she right...he never stays gone for long."
Amelia's aloof tone caught the other two slightly of guard " does~ anyone know when s~he will be here because we have work to get back too." Ods said standing next to birna get a bit impatient she stopped her research to be here,she was on the verge of a breakthrough
It was a few more minutes before Elise joined them all " sorry to keep you all waiting had to finish something up." After everyone except Amelia bowed they sat down in chairs forming a circle
" as you probably know I have been making a lot of preparation for my departure to the dragon's home in a week and I gathered you here because I trust you all the most to run things in my stead, can I count on you?"
" of course my queen." Lazza was the first to speak up but everyone else quickly followed."what I want to really know is what's going on with the king I heard you are fighting
Although Selena was the one that asked everyone was interested in the topic faced with their sincere curiosity Elise caved cracking a slight smile, she would be lying if this wasn't particularly why she called everyone here
Waiting a moment Elise called in a maid to give everyone some tea " well... we did have a little spat and he did leave after but it wasn't that serious." Elise said after taking a sip from the wood cup in her hand
" wasn't serious after what you said ' fine leave that's what your good at' that is a bit more then wasn't serious." Amelia chimed in after all she was there so she saw the fight first hand
" no wonder he showed up frustrated before he left." Lazza commented " I was just upset about what happened and not being able to be with him, them he decided to leave I shouldn't have taken it out on him but did."
" that's not like you though the time I've know you, you haven't blown up." It was Birna's turn to speak up and everyone agreed with her
" it's my body it has changed me in some ways, like now I think I'm in heat because I can't stop wanting to have a baby no matter what I try doing, it's partly why I was so frustrated that day I don't know what to do i try taking care of it myself but it doesn't help it has to be him and i hate it."
Oda and Selena understood her plight having to go through something similar every year these cycles can be brutal without a partner
" my village has some herbs that may help if you want me to get them for you I'm just not sure how effective they will be on you." Oda wanted to add to the conversation happy to be included with the others despite being fairly new here
The breakthrough could wait if her friend needed company " I'll try anything at this point until we can start sleeping with each other again...at least we aren't upset at one another anymore."
This caught everyone attention " so he did come back." Elise nodded shyly " last night, I went back to our bed room an just before I fell asleep he appeared."
" see I told you." Selena smiled at her friend who was lost in her own thoughts at that point " how did you make up?." Selena was curious
" nothing creative we just cuddled and I said I was sorry for being upset I was just upset we had to be apart he accepted and that was the end of it." Elise didn't want to elaborate on what happened to much
" I'm not the only one here with boy trouble, how are your efforts to win the heart of out resident half elven marksman." Elise teased Lazza not wanting the conversation to only be about her
For the next two hours they all talked about there relationship problems or just what ever issues they were having in there life " still it's almost been ten years at this point do you want my help in picking someone."
' no! I want you damn it that why I've stayed alone your the only one I want even now.' Of course Amelia didn't say any of this out loud, even forcing her mind to go blank for a moment out of fear of her best friend finding out her true feelings
" thank you,but I'm ok can we change the subject." Elise just thought it was a sore spot for her but most of the others knew the truth it was obvious to see from the outside
" I wonder what your husband been up to while he was away don't you." Oda asked Elise oblivious to even the concept of two women being together
Elise shook her head " not really knowing him it probably something stupid or dangerous....or both."

" nothing of you will go to waste." Thrusting my staff downward I pierced the head of the spider that turned this abandoned village into it's nest
Letting out a primal screech it drew it's last breath crawling away or so I thought until I was attacked suddenly, something had latched onto my back and was bitting me over and over while it my sides
" you killed her! You killed her!,die die die!." I heard a little girls voice scream in my head
Finally Grabbing whatever was on me I threw it at the body, getting a hold of my staff I attacked but stopped a inch away from impact
There In front of me a little spider compared to the one I just fought at least leaned against the other one doing what I assumed was crying " ma-mama always said to respect the strong and eat the weak...was she weak?."
The piercing bule eyes of the tarantula/jumping spider hybrid stared at me looking for an answer " no little on its just how the world works sometimes...it sucks."
I don't understand why but something was compelling me to take this little spider with me on instinct I held out my hand before I could stop myself ' what am I doing this things going to kill me I just killed their parent.'
But to my surprise the little spider didn't bite me, instead it hesitated then climbed my arm an curled up into a ball on my chest shaking every couple seconds
Holding it so it didn't fall on accident I made my way out of the nest back to the surface I'll teleport back for with some people from the adventures guild that will help dismantle it and make sure we can use everything
But mainly I want the unparalleled silk that comes from the webbing ' first item down now to find out more about the others.'
I kept this in my head not wanting to disturb the little spider
