He didn't even give me a chance to get a word in before hanging up, leaving me completely at a loss.
I sat on my spot, staring speechlessly at the communication device in my hand, unsure of what to do next.
'What sort of situation is this...?'
"How did it go?"
Leon leaned closer to me as he asked his question. I tilted my head away before replying. Too damn close...
"Terrible."
The conversation merely lasted a few minutes, and yet, all it took was those ten minutes to make my stomach churn.
'As expected, I really don't want to interact with him.'
I felt like puking whenever I did.
With that being said, I didn't really have a choice. He was the family head and so what choice did I have?
...And in my own twisted way, I also found myself wanting to learn from him.
