Chapter 77 - Chapter 54

Thinking back… Perhaps Zalazirkalia should have allowed someone stronger than him, perhaps Blue Sky or Diamond, to accompany him…

"[Dragon Justice]!" Shouted Kaigalke, the strongest Dragon Lord descendant of all.

At this, his entire body was surrounded by a whitish aura, before practically disappearing in the blink of an eye.

At this, the fat Demon, who was holding Calcarion by the neck with one hand, ignoring his punches to his chubby arm even though bone splintering could be heard, retreated, placing the heavily armored Dragon right in front of the knight's sword.

Because of this, Kaigalke growled, retreating and canceling his attack. Only for Gula to look at Calcarion after hearing him roar.

"[Mountain Destruction Power]!" He unleashed, driving his fist toward the Evil Lord's face.

He took the blow full on, a slight crack being heard as the Lord of Gluttony finally released his grip on the draconic giant, taking a couple of steps back.

A further look at his face showed two of his teeth were broken…

However, these fell out, replaced by two new ones that sprouted quickly and unpleasantly.

"Hm, what poor manners." The Demon snorted, wiping the purple blood dripping from between his teeth with a napkin that drew it from somewhere.

Nevertheless, the Demon had to jump, with surprising agility and strength despite his obvious body mass, avoiding a sword slash from his back that sounded like a giant blade passing at terrifying speed.

Such was the force of the slash that the ground around the Wyrm Dragon Lord sank and a gale formed around him, causing even the distant soldiers to be slightly pushed by the force of it. Not to mention the shower of blood, bodies, organs, and armor left behind by the battle between the elite of the Argland Army and the Lord of Gluttony.

Gluttony fell upon a Lionman, crushing him with ease, as if he were a glass vessel before a rock.

And taking advantage of the fact that he fell near several soldiers, he grabbed two of them with his hands before they could react.

Without even hesitating, he opened his jaws, so wide it was unnerving, but it wasn't the first time he'd done it.

"W-Wah!" the unfortunate Werewolf screamed before disappearing into the murky jaws of the Lord of Evil. It almost seemed as if he'd been thrown into a bottomless pit instead of a mouth.

And without even giving himself a moment to swallow, Gluttony thrust himself into the other soldier with one movement, before closing his mouth, as if it were a cage declaring the end of those brave men's lives.

"Ah~ Delicious~" The well-dressed Demon hummed.

However, he had to move quickly, practically turning every Demihuman in his path into pulp when Kaigalke appeared at his side, slashing with his back and creating a firm gash in the Demon's arm.

Elsewhere, a plasma beam idly passed through the Argland ranks, slicing dozens of soldiers in half, while Gula and Kaigalke ducked to avoid the beam. And yes, the Evil Lord somehow managed to duck.

"Tch, Vertok, what are you doing?!" The knight growled for the tenth time, becoming distracted, and almost having his face caught in the Lord of Gluttony's claws.

Fortunately for him, however, Calcarion appeared in time, tackling Gluttony and pushing him aside, allowing Wyrm to appear from behind Gluttony and slash down with his katana.

"[Serpentine Slash]!" He shouted, his weapon taking a strange deflection… No, it seemed to follow a smooth, snake-like gait, slicing into the Lord of Gluttony's flesh and causing him to grunt slightly.

The Demon, however, wasn't going down that easily. Instead of falling from Calcarion's shove, he planted a foot firmly on the ground… And intense pressure caused the ground around him to crack as he stopped the armored dragon with sheer strength alone, proving himself no match for the son of a dragon lord.

Enduring the conventionally insignificant pain in his back, he reached out a hand to the side, seeking to stop, or at least partially block, the knight's sword.

"Rooahhh!" Kaigalke roared, bringing his sword down using the full force of his charge, having soared into the sky, and swooping down with a powerful flap of his wings while his sword was still covered in a white aura.

When his sword impacted with Gula's hand… The blade sliced through the demonic flesh with ease, causing the Demon to growl softly, but having fulfilled his intention, it pushed his hand, which, still severed in half and in the process of his arm following that path, knocked Kaigalke off balance, causing his sword to swing to the other side, and then had the horse in front of him.

He opened his jaws wide, ready to devour its head. Even if Wyrm slashed with his sword, he wouldn't be able to do anything…

"Roooaahhhggggg! [Wild Magic: Unstoppable Force]!" Calcarion roared.

And suddenly, even though the Demon could restrain Calcarion with his own strength… He found himself unable to stop him.

It wasn't that Calcarion had gotten stronger… It was simply that… The Lord of Gluttony couldn't stop him.

The Lord of Evil opened his eyes, though they had no eyelids, when he was suddenly pushed back, preventing him from taking Kaigalke's head.

But he did give another a chance.

"[Wyrm Bite]!" Chanted the only Dragon Lord present.

Although, if he were honest, it was likely that all the Children of Tomorrow were capable of using Wild Magic were considered Dragon Lords, and in retrospect, several of them were also stronger than Wyrm, which made him feel somewhat ashamed, but there was nothing he could do.

Though in this case, he was more than grateful for the opportunity his own son, Calcarion, had given him.

His katana suddenly enveloped itself in a yellowish aura that took the form of an arrow, before Wyrm took the weapon in both hands and brandished it at Gula, who was falling towards him.

There was almost a moment of silence across the entire battlefield, where the Demon's flesh could simply be heard being sliced by the sword enhanced by wild magic, empowered by a martial art, before the tip of the katana plunged up to the hilt into the Evil Lord…

Silence remained around them, with only the sound of the brutal war taking place between the rather terrified Demihumans and the Demons, albeit supported by one of the many children of the Brightness Dragon Lord, Lekotar, and of course, the explosions caused by Vertok's stray shots, and finally, Maravalka's pursuit of Melgark.

After all, the Dragon couldn't allow the assassin to roam free among their ranks, but neither could they catch him. That was exactly what Melgark was known for: his speed.

So, even if they couldn't stop him, they couldn't not try, or they would have very heavy casualties by the time they finished off the Demon General. However, it was then that… Maravalka remembered they weren't facing just one Demon General.

"Wait…" He frowned, wondering more seriously how Vertok, a Marksman, was able to hold his own against a Demon General for so long…

But as he heard with his powerful senses Melgark slaughter more Argland soldiers in his moment of hesitation, he snarled, manifesting a spear of electricity in his hand, and practically firing a bolt of lightning at his brother.

The Assassin managed to dodge him, however, sinking into the shadows and continuing the chase.

Gula, lying against a katana, raised his head slightly, glancing sideways at Wyrm.

"T-Tch…! H-How are you still alive…?" The Dragon Lord snarled, beginning to panic.

"Hm… You're much stronger than the last time I came~ How strange~ Although I'm glad you're taking me more seriously~ Haha~" The Demon chuckled, even though he was spitting out his purple blood. "But it's time to end this~" He hummed…

After all, each Evil Lord had a unique special ability. Abilities so powerful, they could turn the tide of battle, even against a level 100 player.

However, at the cost of such abilities, they came with conditions that had to be met before they could be used.

In the case of someone like the Evil Lord of Pride, he needed to be facing someone stronger than him. A condition that was always met if facing a level 100 being, let's say, a level 100 Paladin.

For, to give another example, the Evil Lord of Wrath must have too high a Hatred accumulation, which, conventionally speaking, was quite easy the larger his enemies were.

And in this situation, for the Evil Lord of Gluttony... It was actually quite easy too. Well, conventionally speaking, one had to consider that, among Evil Lord abilities, Gluttony's ability was among the least impactful. But that didn't mean it was actually weak.

It could still put a level 100 player in a difficult position, within the scope of what the Evil Lord of Gluttony served. After all, Gluttony wasn't a warrior, or a Berserker, or anything similar. He was a tank.

And while they could wait a little longer before using their ability… Considering everything that had already been accomplished, it could well be considered that both Gluttony's and Lust's duties had been fulfilled.

And adding to the effect of this ability, another achievement was added~

Thus, Gluttony laughed.

"[Sin of Hell: Gluttony]" He hummed…

Suddenly, Wyrm could tell something was wrong, violently withdrawing his sword and retreating like lightning, while Kaigalke also fluttered backward…

But on the other hand, Gluttony's claws gripped Calcarion.

He almost laughed, knowing that no matter what he did, he wouldn't be able to stop him~ But…

Unfortunately for the Children of Tomorrow, he had no protections against instant death… At least not as powerful.

Calcarion couldn't even understand it, couldn't process it, couldn't even really see it... He only saw black, and felt every part of his body being crushed by endless jaws...

A terrifying and disgusting aura surrounded Gula, while a disgusting sound could be heard, as if the Demon's stomach were convulsing and liquefying gastric juices… Before the Evil Lord's skin suddenly swelled, changing Gluttony's almost skeletal appearance to one more in keeping with what he truly looked like. An obese and fat creature.

"Ah~ But what a wonderful meal~" The Demon General hummed, licking his teeth with a sort of smile.

However, that wasn't what mattered… At least not to those present.

"CALCARION!" Wyrm roared, quickly shooting like lightning towards Gluttony in blind fury.

However, Gluttony chuckled, then spun around and swung his hand at the draconic armor, hitting Wyrm squarely and making him gasp from the Demon's brutal force.

"Uncle!" Kaigalke shouted as he watched the Dragon Lord being shoot out like a bullet to the side, tearing apart more soldiers along the way.

"Haha~ What a treat~ But well~ Now that I've eaten one of you~ The situation is a little less favorable for you, if I may say so~" Gluttony said almost mockingly, though his tone was still elegant and noble.

"Y-You…" Kaigalke stepped back, a little intimidated…

It didn't take a genius to notice that the situation had definitely become very disadvantageous for Argland…

And on Lust's side, things weren't going well for Vertok either…

"Come on, sweetheart~ Won't you do me a little favor~?" An ethereal voice asked, as the trembling Child of Tomorrow weakly raised his weapon toward the female silhouette, firing another plasma beam that simply passed through the silhouette as it disintegrated like smoke…

And of course, the darkness surrounding him made him unable to see where his shot went, which, at least to him, was lost in the shadows.

But its final destination was the head of a Mountain Giant. Perhaps doing him a favor, given that it was covered in Demons climbing its body and torturing it with blades, teeth, and claws.

"[Venus Beauty] [Love Shot]~" Lust hummed, a heart shooting out of her finger after an almost divine light illuminated her, highlighting her beauty, as the shot collided with Vertok's back. Vektor, despite not receiving the slightest damage from the shot, staggered in the opposite direction upon receiving the impact, trembling as he panted heavily.

"Y-You… D-Demon… Ha… Ha…" The son of the Brightness Dragon Lord panted, growing weary, feeling his consciousness fading… Not from unconsciousness, but from something worse…

"Come on, come on~ Stop resisting~ And I promise~ You will feel a sea of pleasure~" The Succubus's seductive voice whispered deliciously in Vektor's ear, while playful hands caressed the Dragon's chest.

"I-I… I…" The Marksman sighed, hesitating more and more easily…

"Fufufu~ [Grand Charm] [Pretty Embrace]~" The Evil Lord of Lust hummed, hugging Vektor from behind, making his heart race… With excitement.

"..." As if in a last attempt to show resistance, the Marksman slightly raised his weapon… But Lust's hand brought it down.

"And for the final touch~ [Lovely Perception]~ [Aphrodisiac Foam]~" With such spells chanted, Vektor felt himself falling into a bed of soft, precious foam, calming his mind of all the troubles of the world, as his vision seemed to soften… The darkness transformed into delicate clouds, while the silhouettes became more beautiful… His weapon suddenly looked less… Interesting. More unpleasant even…

After all… He raised that weapon against his mistress.

"Good~ Good~ Tell me~ Do you have an object that protects your mind~?" A delightful voice whispered in his ear.

"Yes… The Amulet of the First Heaven…" He answered without hesitation. Why would he hesitate after all?

"Give it to me~" His precious and beautiful mistress hummed.

And who was he to disobey her? Why would he even do it?

So, Vektor reached into his robes and, with a tug, removed the golden chain amulet with a silver pattern surrounding a sapphire.

He extended it and gently dropped it into his mistress's outstretched hand.

"Good boy~" Such words unleashed a... A great happiness in Vektor~

He smiled foolishly at this, allowing himself to be caressed by his mistress…

"Now~ Raise your weapon~" She ordered, and he complied.

The Destroyer of Heads and Monsters no longer seemed so unpleasant to him. Not when it was his mistress who commanded him to use it.

"Kill the Wyrm Dragon Lord~" His mistress whispered again…

A part of Vektor still wanted to resist… A very small, mute, and insignificant part, which, if it had already been appeased, now, without the amulet… It was like a termite trying to get the attention of an elephant.

"Yes... Mistress..." Vektor nodded, before, with much effort on his part, trying to abandon such a delicious pleasure... He positioned himself to fire...

Wyrm was barely managing to fight Gula alongside Kaigalke.

However, with the loss of Calcarion, who served as the trio's main support, in addition to obviously contributing to their numerical advantage... The draconic duo's situation wasn't the most ideal.

Gluttony devoured another unfortunate soldier, with no one but Lust and the Demon army that was beginning to gain ground knowing that such a thing was healing him.

Zalazirkalia, after realizing the hard way that it was pointless to simply charge blindly, no matter how much his heart weighed with anger and sadness for his son's death, quickly charged toward the Demon, only to be forced back by a swipe from the Demon that nearly hit him…

Trying to take advantage of this, the Dragon Knight charged up Gluttony's back, slashing with his sword after chanting a martial art… However, this only made a superficial cut in the unpleasant layer of fat, before it closed, and the Evil Lord turned and clawed at Kaigalke with his claws, forcing him to put his sword in the way to avoid damage, but consequently, retreating from the impact.

The most important problem with Calcarion's loss was that Gluttony no longer left any exploitable openings for the other two…

It would be easier with Maravalka or Vertok helping out… Not to mention Lekotar, Melgark, and Tshira… But obviously, they weren't going to get any help anytime soon… Much less from Tshira, one of Brightness's daughters, considering her status… Permanently inactive, so to speak.

Therefore… Wyrm could only hope for one thing…

Buy time until 'He' arrives…

Thus, he pointed his sword at the Lord of Gluttony.

"It's over, monster… You killed my son… And now I'll kill you." He declared with quite a bit of real anger. However, even he didn't believe that.

"Ah~ I believe you said something similar a couple of times before~ Though without the son part, of course~" The Lord of Evil hummed, almost amused.

Kaigalke looked at his uncle, and he nodded…

Hm… So they had to give it their all now…

Hardening his resolve, the knight took a deep breath, gripping his weapon firmly… He was going to have to use all his Wild Magic…

"[Wild Magic: Dawn Hope] [Wild Magic: Great Future]." Chanting two of his most powerful spells again, he found himself surrounded by an aura for a moment, as if bathed in sunlight…

After that, he felt the power cover his eyes, a buzzing sound that made him blink for a couple of seconds…

And then he saw it… His Wild Magic could very well be called impressively powerful. His father taught it to him based on what he remembered from an acquaintance, a dead Dragon Lord from the past, though Kaigalke could only replicate a part of it… The power to see the future.

"UNCLE! LOOK OUT!" He instantly shouted towards the Wyrm Dragon Lord. However, it was one thing to see the future, and another to be able to avoid it.

And between the distance, the obstacle that was Gluttony, and time, Kaigalke couldn't do much more than... Look.

An intense sound, like energy concentrated in a lightning bolt, was heard.

Zalazirkalia really had no chance of seeing it, let alone avoiding it.

He was the weakest Dragon Lord, after all.

He could only let out...

"Ah..." He muttered, as he watched the plasma beam pass through his body despite his Wild Magic enhancement, until it reached the ground beneath him... Only to disappear, leaving a firm hole in his chest.

Kaigalke stood with his hand outstretched, while Gluttony hummed curiously.

The Wyrm Dragon Lord staggered back slightly... He couldn't breathe... He no longer had lungs...

However, he saw Gluttony's Evil Lord one last time... And with his remaining strength, he clenched his fist.

"D-Die..." He gasped, before his body deformed.

From a humanoid figure, the armor practically exploded into shattered metal as something gigantic appeared.

A worm… No, a snake. A Wyrm.

A giant serpentine beast, with white scales and some brown, ending in a giant head with fanged maws and glowing red eyes alongside thick tendrils trailing down its head that seemed to mimic swept-back hair and a beard.

[Wyrm Dragon Lord PNG]

However, the elongated hole along its body was more than noticeable, as if the damage to its humanoid form had been transferred to its elongated, serpentine form in equal measure.

Zalazirkalia opened its jaws, a faint flame appearing between them…

But that was nothing.

"[Feast Upon The Weak]" Gluttony chanted, before lunging with surprising speed toward the Wyrm, sinking its teeth into its flesh.

A very annoying skill from the Evil Lord of Gluttony, an instant movement that brought him instantly in front of the enemy with the lowest HP, and subsequently, guaranteed a hit.

Caught in the Demon's teeth, Zalazirkalia gasped more, spitting out a mouthful of boiling blood instead of flames, before thrashing around in a weak attempt to free himself from Gula.

But he was too heavy… And much stronger.

Using the bitten area as a grip, the Lord of Gluttony shook his head from side to side, then the other… Like a crocodile, the Demon was shaking his prey, stripping away its flesh, dizzying it, and incapacitating it.

"UNCLE!" Kaigalke, in a great need to act, charged swiftly toward the Lord of Gluttony, only to see the future and stop on reflex, coming within inches of a plasma beam that nearly hit him. "Tch! Vertok! What are you doing?!" He roared furiously.

"… I obey the Lady…" His voice muttered through the barely touched shared channel.

Without understanding what was happening, or how it had come to this, Kaigalke had to take another step back, avoiding another shot from his comrade…

He clenched his fists around the handle of his sword, trembling slightly… This was it… This was the power of Komodo…? Not even being present... That thing...

However, something else happened.

Something neither Gluttony nor Lust expected.

Out of absolute nowhere, a pane of glass seemed to shatter somewhere, only to reveal the sky shattered like glass, revealing that the other side was a completely different scene from this war, a scorched place, with a huge crater...

But from the opening, something emerged.

A beast, a monster, an abomination that could even be called a Dragon, came out roaring and kicking in blind rage, even though it was missing a leg, its tail, and its wings.

And grabbing it by the neck...

"Tsain... Dorcus..." Zalazirkalia, barely conscious... He let out his last words, before being thrown to the side like a piece of raw meat.

"Tsain Dorcus? Mm?" Gluttony raised an eyebrow before looking behind him, staring wide-eyed at the Archon, and one of Her Majesty's enemies. Riku Aganeia. Why did they use that strange name…? He had to report it…

"Father…" Kaigalke murmured as well, almost falling to his knees in relief. But the platinum armor didn't deign to say anything, as it grabbed a katana of the same material as its armor with one hand and brandished it…

Unlike the previous times, this time, the katana sliced through the Demonic Dragon's flesh without difficulty…

And the Archon died, turning into burning, reddish ash in such an anticlimactic manner…

Platinum remained silent as his hand continued to grip the beast's neck, as if silently trying to comprehend what had just happened and trying to calm himself…

Only to look down, seeing the body of the Wyrm Dragon Lord, the Demonic army, and how his own son was alone against that thing…

His fist trembled slightly… And he extended a hand to the side.

"[Wild Magic: Four Commandments]." He said in a serious and… Somewhat annoyed voice.

The four weapons floating around him were covered in a brilliant white energy, almost like fire… Before they shot out towards Gluttony in the blink of an eye.

And like comets, they left a faint white trail in their path…

The Demon could barely place his arm to block the attack…

However, it didn't matter.

Despite still having a huge amount of shielding, and having over 50% of his HP left thanks to Calcarion, and his high defensive capabilities…

The Lord of Gluttony opened his eyes slightly as he felt his HP drop to 0 in an instant…

The four weapons pierced through him, embedded in the ground and leaving four holes in his obese body…

Gluttony fell silent, before gasping out a foul smoke.

"...Too much salt…" He blurted out, before falling backward limply, and before hitting the ground, he shattered into green dust…

Kaigalke watched the scene in silence, glancing slightly at his father…

On the other hand, the other Evil Lord present was almost in shock, but not for long… And she reacted accordingly to such an unexpected and brutal situation.

"Children, we're leaving." She immediately released it, after issuing a [Message] to Melgark.

At this, the two enchanted Dragon descendants obeyed without hesitation, with Melgark diverting his planned route so he could kill Argland soldiers while fleeing from Maravalka.

Instead, he practically appeared next to Lust, kneeling.

"[Dimensional Block] [Greater Teleportation]." The Evil Lord immediately chanted as she grabbed the two Dragons' shoulders, disappearing instantly. Just before an electric spear pierced where she stood…

"... Damn… Damn!" Maravalka roared.

"..." Platinum remained silent, staring at the Wyrm's corpse. "I was late." He muttered, as the rift behind him closed.

"... Fath-" Kaigalke tried to comfort 'Riku', but he raised a hand, as if demanding silence.

"Enough. Between Zalazirkalia and you, my identity could have been exposed to Komodo. Be thankful that Komodo will die soon enough for that to be a deciding factor." The Dragon Lord suppressed his anger through his armor before floating toward the Wyrm's corpse.

He reached out a hand and touched the serpentine Dragon's snout.

"… Rest, old friend." He murmured, before Zalazirkalia's corpse disappeared in white flames, releasing ashes of that same pure, pristine hue as the Dragon Lord's corpse was cremated.

Once Zalazirkalia disappeared… Tsaindorcus, the Platinum Dragon Lord, gestured with his hand, causing his weapons stuck in the ground to rise.

"… Hm…" Platinum did his best to control his anger… But like a good Dragon, it wouldn't be that easy.

So, he glanced sideways at the army of Demons that continued to attack relentlessly.

"I'm going to kill them all." He declared, before practically blinking out of Kaigalke's sight and destroying a Demon with a single sword stroke.

But it didn't matter how much Tsaindorcus wailed, or how many Demons he killed.

No matter how much he destroyed Komodo... Argland's losses... The world's losses were enormous...

The epic battle unfolded… Masterfully.

"Gahhh!" Bulldoger roared as he slammed a Dark Young, knocking it back a couple of meters, which was quite an achievement considering all the defensive capabilities of a Dark Young.

The creature lashed out with its powerful tentacles, striking Bulldoger and shattering the ground beneath him, who didn't suffer much damage, not even a significant one due to his enormous defense and durability.

It was a battle that, if they were really fighting seriously, Bulldoger had every chance of winning. He was a level 100, after all, an offensive tank even.

And of course, the fight wasn't just about those two.

Echidna swung her spear, severing one of the other Young's tentacles, causing the Eldritch Tree Goat to bleat in annoyance, striking the armor with another tentacle.

A few meters behind Echidna, Miia's compound bow drew, aiming at the Shub-Niggurath hatchling, firing a golden arrow that released a massive electrical blast upon impact with the monster's hide.

She jumped back, avoiding a massive fireball that passed by her, aiming her bow at the causer of all this destruction, firing a golden arrow just like the one she'd fired at Betelgeuse.

However, the arrow struck an ethereal shield, destroying it but missing the magic caster.

"Tch, bastards..." The Devil cursed, clearly losing, as it was clear he was missing an arm and his army of Demons was retreating due to the reorganization of Deorum Regnum and the B.A.F.W. It was clear that Bulldoger's appearance was the trigger for his loss...

Well, obviously, that was how it was planned.

He heard a loud roar, looking to his left and seeing a B.A.F.W. leaping toward him with its mouth wide open.

With a flick of his hand, he stopped the creature in midair, though that second was enough distraction for a red arrow to pierce through his shoulder from side to side, watching him disappear into the distance.

"Agh! Damned heretics!" The Demiurge shouted, extending his hand toward Miia and chanting. "[Call Lesser Thunder]."

At this, a bolt of lightning struck Miia, causing the archer to groan slightly in pain, but she stood her ground.

Bulldoger leaped from his spot, powerfully reaching for the B.A.F.W. that was falling to the ground, using its back as a base and leaping toward the Demiurge, his armor's claws ready to strike it with great force, or at least that's how it would look.

"[Hold Species]!" Betelgeuse managed to stop Bulldoger, but even with CC it was difficult to contain something so strong… "[Greater Teleportation]!" He exclaimed, disappearing and thus avoiding two red arrows, which flew past him, as Betelgeuse appeared several meters behind a Young.

"Aghh! Damn it!" Betelgeuse growled, before pointing accusingly at the Commanders. "Consider yourselves lucky! Her Majesty needs me elsewhere!" He snarled. "We shall meet again! And when I do, I will destroy you!" He hissed, before extending his single hand. "[Greater Teleportation]!" He said once more, before disappearing.

"Coward! Come back here!" Bulldoger growled loudly, but Betelgeuse had disappeared, and beside him, the Dark Young stopped completely… Before starting to walk backward, slowly fading into black leaves that disintegrated into dust.

"…" Miia silently looked at where the Dark Youngs had been, before looking at the state of the camp. "… It's a mess." She muttered.

"Hm, it is." Bulldoger growled. "Looks like we'll have to work more on the front lines." He muttered with mock annoyance.

"… Echidna, destroy the remaining Demons, and then help the United Army however you can." The Fairy ordered, to which the armor nodded, quickly charging at the Demons.

Both Bulldoger, who was wearing a wing-shaped collar, and Miia descended from the sky, landing in the middle of the camp. What was left of it, at least.

"Commander." Bulldoger exclaimed, approaching Miia. "That bastard, how did he get there from that direction? There's no way they could have gotten past the joint defenses against the Demons!" The tank exclaimed.

"Two possibilities." The Fairy mentioned, raising a finger. "Those monsters stole the teleportation artifact and ambushed us." She mentioned, making sure to speak loud enough for the Theocracy soldiers to hear. "Or the Theocracy unit tasked with mobilizing the artifact betrayed us."

"Grrr… If that's the case, that unit should still be in that direction!" Bulldoger exclaimed, growling like a wolf. Still, they heard someone approaching, glancing sideways at the captain of the unit that had been fighting alongside them. Sure, it was a human, not currently in good condition. His armor was torn and his skin was cut, as well as his muscles strained and strained, but he still persisted.

"Allow me to accompany you…" He exclaimed… "I-If it's as you say, Commander Miia… I'd like to kill the captain of that unit myself…" He blurted out with clear anger. After all, both he and his soldiers had become very friendly with Miia's troops and commanders.

"No need…" A Deorum Regnum captain growled. "I saw Theocracy soldiers exit through the portal, following the Demons. They were struck by the dark power of the Komodo follower and died." He spat out in annoyance.

"…" The Theocracy commander fell silent, clenching his fists…

"…That settles it." Miia muttered with a light sigh, silently looking at the human. "I hope you understand that the Theocracy will pay dearly for this lack of discipline and loyalty to the cause." She said with accusatory reproach.

Even so, she saw how the man placed his hand on his own chest, over the Theocracy insignia, and suddenly removed it, throwing it to the ground…

"They didn't just betray you, but us too… The Theocracy wanted to kill you, no matter that we were here…" He blurted out, annoyed, his soldiers clearly confused and doubtful, but they understood what was happening…

Thus, Miia watched how the remaining human army followed in their captain's footsteps, removing the Theocracy insignia, cloaks, everything that indicated they were from the Theocracy…

Miia and Bulldoger looked at each other…

If it weren't for the act, Miia would have smiled slightly. Bulldoger could have afforded to have his helmet…

As expected of the Supreme Ladies~ Their plans went perfectly~

The Theocracy was running out of an army~ Both from massive casualties and the destruction of their loyalty to their nation~

Only the most hopeless extremists would remain with the Theocracy. And those who did not accept the Supremes would suffer the consequences of choosing to live in the darkness of heresy.
