Chapter 2 - Death Bag

The heavy mechanism dropped towards me and crushed sending both me and the hunk of junk right through the floor bed.

My head was still spinning as I crawled out of the ruble covered in mud, bust and splitters. I was going to need a really long bath after all this. The other issues I was left to cope with and bring back to reality was for the fact that, the Vending machine just tried to kill me!

Vigor ... Vigor, a tonic / Fink's... Fink's... Fink's formula o o o... of wonder / Primal mmm... mysteries!

The Automaton voice box glitch as it moved it's arms about (for those with no experience with dealing with one, the Veni Vidi Vigor is one of three types of vending machines. Each machine is equipped with a robot of man on top of it know as an Automaton).

Running away and getting help would be the most logical idea, but only for people who know their surrounding. As for your dear old Tots, that wasn't the case. The building I was in seemed to be some kind of large abandoned building... No windows and only one door that was located twenty feet off the ground on the ceiling.

The Vending machine then turned towards me covered in oil and filth. It seemed to know that I was a few feet away from it. It's once rocking head locked onto my direction, with eyes that looked straight into my soul with piercing glance.

Hey therelittle one hope your having a wonderful day... day... day... Because I'm sure as hell not.

The Automaton said to me. First of all the glitching didn't help me feel any better about it still being functional. No, I've worked with them vending machines of all kinds and I've never herd not even one go off script the way this one just did.

A bee is as loyal to the sawn and equally if not even more loyal to the queen. A worker will die for the sake of the hive. The problem comes in when the honey tastes bitter, but they all keep making it anyways.

I don't know who you are exactly, but I can taste that horrendous honey all over you. You work for Fink and the prophet Camstock like nobody else. Trust me kid when I say it's one big step downwards. Your life is way too precious to simply toss away... I can... I can show you a better path. One that will grant so much happiness and freedom... you'll be thanking me at the end of it all. Kid tell me...

have you ever tried an Infusion before?
