Chi Zaozao had just finished the weekly summary meeting and returned to her office, ready to revise some documents, when Mo Ran pushed the door open and entered.
"President Chi, Miss Leng is looking for you. Would you like to meet her directly?"
Chi Zaozao raised an eyebrow and lifted her head to look at Mo Ran. "Let her come directly to my office."
"Understood!"
Mo Ran hadn't been gone for even five minutes before leading Qing Er into the room.
Upon seeing Chi Zaozao, Qing Er greeted her courteously, "President Chi."
This was the rule—business conducted outside had to follow professional protocols, instead of addressing her affectionately as "sister-in-law."
Otherwise, outsiders might think Leng Moqing had secured her collaboration with Zao Chen through connections.
Chi Zaozao didn't take issue with her choice of address and gestured for her to sit in the lounge area. She herself got up and walked over.
