The nurse was standing at the door between the inner and outer rooms; the door was ajar, while from the outer room's door came repeated banging sounds—it was the bodyguards refusing entry to the group of journalists trying to force their way in.
"You were the one doing my check-up, right?" After kissing her, Gu Xize looked up from in front of her, and she glanced at the IV bottle on the hospital bed, noticing that the Potion inside was nearly gone. "If you don't come and help soon, I'll end up with air in my veins."
The nurse quickly turned back around, stepped forward a few paces to help her pull out the IV needle, sanitized it, and finally told her she didn't need any more IVs for today and could be discharged at any time. Then the nurse left, walking backward and keeping her head down the whole time, not daring to look at her and Gu Xize.
"All done." Yun Sisi shook her wrist. "I'm guessing mom must be exhausted handling those reporters all by herself outside. Let's go!"
