Ming Mei wasn't too fond of the cold weather; she disliked heat as well as cold, probably because she was pregnant and her immunity was weaker. Whenever it got a bit chilly, she felt her body slowing down.
Kang Chen reached out and half-hugged her. "Yeah, the meteorological service said that this Winter might be colder than usual. How about... in a couple of days I take you to stay in the mountains for a bit? It's right behind the military base, halfway up the mountain. There's a villa there," Kang Chen suddenly suggested.
Ming Mei was surprised: "Why? What made you think of taking me out to live there? Isn't it even cooler in the mountains?"
