Once Ai Jiang's figure disappeared from the entrance to the farmhouse, the taxi driver ripped off the sideburns from his face. As his features completely came into view, he glanced at his reflection in the rearview mirror and rubbed his face which was a little stiff from having something glued on for too long. Then he muttered quietly, "Phew, thank goodness my splendid looks didn't get ruined."
After speaking, he continued to gaze carefully at his face in the mirror, then he picked up his phone and dialed a number.
The phone rang several times before a sleepy voice came through, "Hello?"
