When the car left the underground parking lot of the Han Family corporation, Han Jingnian knew the girl beside him wouldn't be able to check into the Four Seasons Hotel, but he still pretended to be clueless and asked, "Heading to the Four Seasons?"
Xia Wan'an, fully aware that she had lost her ID and couldn't possibly check into the Four Seasons Hotel, pretended she didn't realize it and nodded her head several times with an "Mmm" sound.
Due to it being close to the evening rush hour, the road was slightly congested. A normally twenty-minute journey took a full forty-five minutes before they finally arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Entering the lobby, Xia Wan'an headed straight for the reception desk. Only when the receptionist politely asked her to present valid identification did she, seemingly struck by sudden realization, let out an "Ah."
