She gripped the doorknob, turned it several times, and when she saw it wouldn't budge, she leaned in to examine it closely. Then, upon seeing the password lock, she immediately lit up with a joyful "Oh" and started to enter the code.
After several failed attempts, all indicating an incorrect password, and just as the lock's security system was about to activate and lock the door completely, suddenly a hand grabbed the one she was using to input the code. The hand didn't let go immediately but paused for a few minutes before using her hand to enter the correct password.
Xia Wan'an, tipsy and slow to react, had no idea what had just happened. When she heard the "click" of the door opening, she immediately staggered into the house.
She didn't bother closing the door and leaned towards the staircase, walking straight towards the steps as if she hadn't noticed them. Unsurprisingly, she tripped over her own feet.
