Larthas accompanied Gorisong to find Ah Dai for two purposes, one of which was to inquire whether Goris had created the Divine Artifact. He had coveted the Divine Artifact that Goris was preparing to refine many years ago. Another purpose was to try to persuade Ah Dai and Xuan Yue to join the Mage Guild of Tian Jing through Gorisong's connections, but now he had lost all desire and could no longer speak the words he had previously intended, only silently comforting the grieving Gorisong.
Xuan Yue held Ah Dai's big hand, feeling his trembling body, and softly said, "Big brother, don't be like this. Teacher Goris would be sad to know this. Don't you still have the Wish of Goris? Your teacher is always with you, watching over you!"
