As she turned around to head to the company, she ran into Gongze Yu.
It seemed like he had witnessed the whole scene. There was an unmistakable pain in his eyes that didn't disappear when his gaze met hers.
She sighed internally.
Gongze Yu stepped forward, "Your relationship with him seems to have improved recently."
Even though the scene he had just witnessed broke his heart, he was glad for Bai Xue. If she was happy, no amount of pain mattered to him.
"Yes." Bai Xue did not deny it. In front of Gongze Yu, she would always portray the loving and enduring relationship she had with her husband, in hopes that he would give up.
"Meng Tuo is back. He said there were some issues in our European market. He was looking for you but couldn't find you, so he asked me to come back to the company. Let's go and check it out." Gongze Yu swiftly ended the slightly uncomfortable conversation.
They went back to the company.
