I leaned forward and spoke before anyone else could. "Your proposal sounds ambitious, Mrs. Kent. But considering Felora & Co. primarily operates within European and coastal U.S. markets, what makes you think your projections will translate effectively here in Portland? Our market trends tend to be more conservative."

Imogen didn't flinch. She gave me a slow, deliberate smile. "Because I lived here. I know Portland. The city may be conservative in nature, but its women aren't. And in a place where image and legacy walk hand in hand, brand accessibility is a priority. We've already tested pilot campaigns through boutique surveys here. Seventy-two percent of respondents said they'd shop more if price met taste."

The board murmured among themselves.
