The two men were sitting at the bar counter, enjoying their liquor.
"So what is your impression of my sister?" Vladimir asked Dmitri.
Dmitri let out a soft chuckle after hearing Vladimir's direct question.
"Why? Are you worried that I will dislike your sister? Are you rooting for me?" Dmitri cracked some jokes to lighten the atmosphere. Vladimir's mood had always been serious.
Vladimir shot him a cold sharp glare. "No. I'm not worried. Why would I be?"
Dmitri smirked at him, taking a sip of his whiskey. "Because I heard that you didn't want to marry my sister Freya. I guess, you are hoping that things between Lanny and me will work out. Am I right?"
Vladimir wasn't able to respond. He couldn't deny it. Dmitri's words were true. He was hoping that Lanny and Dmitri would marry each other to solidify the alliance between the Ivankov Clan and the De Luca Clan. Besides, the father of Lanny's child was already in a relationship with someone.
