The next morning, Lanny was awakened by the sound of a doorbell. She rubbed her eyes, trying to wash away her sleepiness. She was about to get off the bed when a strong arm pulled her closer.
Enzo was cuddling her in his arms, nuzzling his nose on the crook of her neck. He was half-asleep when he felt her movement.
Lanny smiled tenderly after seeing his gorgeous face. Ignoring the ringing sound of the doorbell, she sunk her body into his embrace, hugging him back.
But moments later, the door was pushed open from the outside and the worrying Alice barged into the room.
He had been unreachable since last night. Thinking that something bad happened to him, Alice requested the hotel staff to open his door using the master keycard of the hotel. She just wanted to check on his status.
But to her surprise, a shocking sight welcomed her into the room. Lying on the bed, Enzo and Lanny were hugging each other.
"Enzo? Lanny?" Alice gasped in disbelief. Her body trembled from the shock.
