Nearby, Mikoto watched the scene with a smile. She leaned over to Sasuke, who looked slightly irritated.
"Sasuke, look how determined Naruto is. You could learn something from him," She whispered teasingly.
Sasuke huffed, crossing his arms. "Tch. I don't need to learn from him. I'm already ahead of everyone."
Mikoto chuckled and patted his shoulder. "Don't be too quick to judge. You two might just make each other stronger."
Sasuke looked away, but there was a spark of interest in his eyes. Despite his words, he was curious about Naruto's confidence and charisma.
Meanwhile, Sakura, Ino, and Hinata watched from a distance as Naruto waved goodbye to his mother. Hinata smiled softly, her cheeks flushed.
"Naruto-kun is so brave…" She whispered to herself.
Sakura nodded, though she didn't quite understand Hinata's shyness. "He's something else, alright. And I'm gonna be just as good as him!"
The three girls shared a quick glance of mutual determination. They had each been inspired by Naruto in different ways, and now, standing at the start of this journey, they felt a renewed sense of purpose.
As Hiruzen signaled for the parents to step back, allowing the children to form a line in front of the academy doors, Kushina and the other parents took one last look at their children.
She gave Naruto a thumbs-up and mouthed, "Good luck!"
Naruto returned the gesture, grinning from ear to ear.
...
Inside the academy, Iruka Umino, one of the academy's instructors, stepped forward to greet the students. His gaze scanned the group, noting the bright mix of enthusiasm, nerves, and stubborn pride among them.
"Welcome, everyone!" He announced, his voice clear and confident. "I'm Iruka-sensei, and I'll be one of your instructors. Today, you're taking the first step toward becoming Konoha's future shinobi. Over the next few years, you'll learn everything you need to know to protect your village, your families, and yourselves."
Naruto's eyes sparkled as he listened, his fists clenched with excitement.
Iruka continued, "But let me be clear—it won't be easy. Training will be tough, and not everyone makes it to the end. Only those with discipline, resilience, and a true heart for protecting others can call themselves shinobi."
Naruto leaned over to Sasuke, unable to resist commenting. "Hear that, Sasuke? Sounds like we're gonna need some guts."
Sasuke rolled his eyes but didn't argue. "Maybe you do, Naruto, but I'm more than ready."
Naruto laughed softly, the friendly rivalry between them already taking root.
As Iruka finished his introduction, he led the students into a large classroom where each child found a seat. Naruto ended up near the center, flanked by Sakura on one side and Hinata a row behind him. Sasuke sat a few seats away, casting occasional glances toward Naruto, as if evaluating his new rival.
Iruka began explaining the structure of the academy, listing the classes they would be attending—history, taijutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, and other foundational subjects.
Naruto listened intently, though he couldn't help but glance around at his classmates, sizing up the competition.
When Iruka paused for questions, Naruto's hand shot up immediately. "Iruka-sensei! When do we get to start training with real jutsu?"
Iruka chuckled, nodding at Naruto's enthusiasm. "Good question, Naruto. But first, you need to learn the basics—chakra control, teamwork, and discipline. We'll get to jutsu soon enough, but remember, becoming a ninja is about more than just flashy techniques."
Naruto nodded, a bit disappointed but still eager. He could hardly wait to prove himself, to show everyone that he was destined for greatness.
As the day went on, the students were given a tour of the academy grounds. Naruto walked alongside Sakura and Hinata, both girls quietly enjoying his confident presence. He pointed out various features he'd heard about from his mother, sharing tidbits of knowledge as if he were already a seasoned expert.
"And over there," Naruto said, gesturing toward the training fields, "is where we'll learn how to fight! I bet I'm gonna be the strongest in the class."
Sakura giggled, shaking her head. "You're so full of yourself, Naruto. Don't you think some of us might be strong too?"
Naruto shrugged, grinning. "Maybe, but I've got a secret weapon!"
Hinata's eyes widened. "S-secret weapon?"
Naruto smirked. "Yeah, me!" He thumped his chest proudly. "I'm gonna work harder than anyone!"
Hinata smiled softly, her admiration clear, while Sakura shook her head with an exasperated smile.
As the tour concluded, Iruka gathered the students one final time in the classroom, explaining that the next day would mark the start of their formal lessons. He reminded them to come prepared and to show up with a mindset focused on learning and respect.
When the dismissal bell finally rang, the parents, who had gathered outside, waved to their children. Naruto spotted Kushina almost immediately and ran up to her, his face beaming.
"Naruto! How was it?" She asked, pulling him into a quick hug. "Did you have fun?"
Naruto nodded enthusiastically. "It was awesome, Mom! I met Iruka-sensei, and he said we're gonna learn everything! And I've already got some new rivals."
He shot a quick glance over his shoulder at Sasuke, who was saying goodbye to him and his mother.
Kushina chuckled, patting his back. "Good, good! You're already making connections, and that's important. Just remember—stay focused, stay strong, and don't let anyone tell you that you can't achieve something."
Naruto grinned up at her, the fire in his eyes unmistakable. "Don't worry, Mom. I'm gonna make you and Dad proud!"
As they walked home, Naruto chatted non-stop about the academy, his excitement infectious. Kushina listened with a mother's warmth and patience, soaking in every detail he shared.
That evening, as Naruto lay in bed, he replayed the day's events in his mind. He thought of the friendships he was already forming, the rivalries sparking, and the path ahead. The academy was just the beginning, but in his heart, he felt the call of destiny.
"I'll show them," He murmured to himself, a determined smile forming on his lips. "I'll be the best ninja this village has ever seen… and someday, I'll be Hokage."
Outside his door, Kushina smiled softly, her lips curling into a sultry grin. She had listened to her son's words, her heart warmed by his unwavering resolve and passion. Yet tonight, her intentions diverged from talk of grand journeys and heroic tales.
Her crimson hair cascaded down her shoulders, contrasting with the delicate lace of her daring lingerie—a deep red ensemble that clung to her figure like a whisper of temptation.
As she pushed the door open and stepped inside, the soft click of her heels on the floor announced her presence. Her eyes shimmered with a mischievous glint, and her voice, low and inviting, broke the silence.
"Well, Naruto," She purred, her tone as smooth as velvet, "You've had your mind set on conquering the world... but tonight, let's focus on something far more personal."
Her confidence radiated in every step as she closed the distance between them, her intentions clear.
