A white, misty portal rippled open in the air, and a small, fluffy head peered out. Snowflake blinked a few times before tilting her head. "Did you call me, Master?" she asked curiously, her voice soft yet eager. Without waiting for a response, she leapt straight into his arms, rubbing her head affectionately against his chest.
