If you asked them who they would prefer to lead Silver Serpent Base, they'd undoubtedly choose the military without hesitation, given that the military's reputation was quite good, both before and after the apocalypse. Unfortunately, the military force at Milky Way Base was too weak to control the Ability Users.
Now, after a night of chaos and waking up to soldiers standing guard on the streets, they were, of course, a bit incredulous. Some even wondered if the soldiers had defected…
But just then, a vehicle equipped with loudspeakers arrived, with messages being played on loop through the loudspeaker.
"Silver Serpent Base has now officially been taken over by the military… All citizens, please stay in your homes and do not go out… If there are any casualties, please report them in a timely manner…"
