Big White was very reluctant when Qiaoqiao called him out of the pond!
He wasn't a silly goose; every day he led a mighty procession of ducks across the pond, nibbling on water grass, picking at little fish, with hundreds of ducks and shrimp under his command, he was co-ruler of the pond!
Life couldn't be more carefree.
So much so that lately he hadn't even bothered to seek out the King—the King, that foolish dog, guarding the back mountain all day, running hither and thither, what's so good about that? Even that delicious pig food wasn't shared with him!
And then there was his owner, Qiao Bao, who at first would share half his biscuits with him, later sneakily eating honey and only willing to give him a small blob... huh, he, the Goose King, was no longer the little goose of the yard; how could he not see the change of heart?
Especially this morning, just after having plunged into the water for a couple of rounds, he felt the water flowing down from the mountains was different!
