Chen Huan nodded and followed me into the room on the left. The chamber beyond was much smaller than I'd anticipated. The place was practically featureless—the walls and floor were completely the same as in the rest of the temple, and the ceiling wasn't even twice my height. There was nothing inside save for a large, transparent pink crystal floating in the center of the room. In its center, a glassy eye the size of a bowling ball was clearly visible.
"So, I just need to shatter this crystal, then?"
