Ali Baba's eyes widened as he saw the boy by Zarqa's side dropping to the ground, clutching his left side tightly as blood seeped through his finger.
Before she could react, Zarqa was grasped and had a certain knife held to her throat. " Don't even move," a familiar voice ordered.
" Jamal!" Ali Baba couldn't stand the boy before, but now he loathed him. Not only did he hurt Zarqa before, but now he had just stabbed his friend and was threatening the girl, again.
Jamal backed into the alley, pulling Zarqa with him. " I will just have to take her and everything will be fine," he assured him. " You won't get hurt."
" Don't play around with me! Let her go!" He stepped forward, hand searching for his dagger.
