In the heart of the forest of the damned laying side by side were two souls who were far from being damned. With the back of the man resting upon a big tree and the woman's back resting upon the chest of her husband, they remained in each other's arms away from the world of people and dwelled in a place, a space where just the two of them and their unborn child existed.
Fingers intertwined upon the protruding stomach of the woman.
A stolen wedding ring finally returned, resting on the finger of its rightful owner. And the rings on both their fingers matched and the woman could not help but smile with much satisfaction as she stared at the wedding bands around both their fingers.
'Twas perfect.
As it should have always been.
"Should we return to the cottage now?" The man asked. "Everyone must be waiting for us." He reminded her.
