Chapter 10 - Escaping!! (pt.2)!

Number 102's eyes surged with rage, a wave of pure and perfect anger that flowed out of him like a torrent! With a chill in his cold gaze, he quietly and without a sound stood to his feet, not even feeling the pain wracking his body at the moment!

He then started moving toward the guard, his steps neither lethargic nor hurried as he took in the scene before him. His heart ached with pride and pain as he saw his siblings' determined faces, gritted in determination, unyielding as they protected them.

He steeled his gaze and his anger faded into a lull state. He hadn't even realized it when he got to the guard, he didn't feel it when he circled around him.

He didn't feel anything as he swiftly and decisively, with all the strength in his body, pierced through the guard's throat with the Ki stone shard that was now colored crimson from how hard Number 102 had been gripping it and the blood of the other guards!

After making sure the guard was dead, Number 102 looked at his grimacing siblings with a kind smile and muttered, "Thank…you" before collapsing on the ground, unconscious.

After catching their breaths, Number 103 whispered to Number 104, "Grab that dumb*ss, we have a dungeon to conquer" with a steely serious gaze. A tone full and resolved.

Number 104 smiled and nodded with a serious expression, feeling proud of himself for fighting back and of his sibling's strength!

Number 104 went and picked up his eldest brother and carried him on his back, wrapping his legs around his hips and laying his upper body on his head.

Number 103 grabbed the sharpened Ki stone and motioned for Number 104 to follow her.

Walking past the next hallway, they saw another guard facing their direction. Seeing the guard, they quickly hid behind the corner that had just peered out from.

Checking every few seconds, Number 103 waited for the guard to turn in the opposite direction to them.

"Tsk" she clicked her tongue as she held her shaking hand in her other one.

She knew what she was about to do, and she knew that it was necessary.

However, she turned her head and saw her brother behind her, relying on her.

How dare she fail, they were watching after all.

She steeled her heart and resolved herself to slaughter this man, for the sake of those she cared about!

With swift and silent steps, she appeared behind the guard and struck out at his exposed neck with the Ki stone!

*SPLASH*!!

His blood splattered everywhere as his body grew cold, not even comprehending how he died!

Catching him, Number 103 slowly lowered him onto the ground to ensure he didn't make much noise.

Afterwards, they finally arrived at the gate. The last guard shifted for tonight was meant to guard the gate!

Because of the gate's size, there was nowhere nearby that they could use to ambush the guard!

Noticing this, Number 103 felt apprehensive and uncertain of what to do about the unfortunate situation.

Number 104, noticing their plight, narrowed his eyes as his mind spun!

His eyes lit up as he thought of a plan, one that seemed perfect!

He told Number 103 his plan and she couldn't help but whisper, "That's genius if you can do it"

It was a silent question but the resolved and determined look in his eyes convinced her to put it in action!

Number 103 sighed silently and nodded as they got started.

Number 104 let down their brother and gently laid him down on the ground! Afterwards, he sprinted towards the guard!

The guard's expression became surprised in an instant as he saw Number 104 trying to escape!

He immediately tried to swing his baton at him but Number 104 had planned for this and managed to duck to the ground, avoiding it!

The guard, still flustered, looked down at the ground at Number 104.

Seeing the guard focused on something else, Number 103 saw her chance!

She ran as fast as she could and just as the guard looked up, she stabbed the Ki stone through the guard's throat!

His eyes widened in shock as he died, not believing the unfortunate turn of events.

Number 104 was breathing shakily from the fear but he ignored it and calmed down!

Number 103 tapped the pattern on the gate, feeling exhilarated at the fact that they had done it! They were finally about to escape!

Number 104 went back and grabbed Number 102 who was slowly gaining consciousness.

"Hmmm," Number 102 moaned as he gained awareness.

"Brother!" Number 104 exclaimed in happiness as he picked up his brother.

Number 102 leaned on his younger brother as they walked slowly to the opening gate!

*Creeeakk*!!

The gate was open and the siblings all stepped out with smiles on their faces.

However, their smiles fell as they saw three men standing outside the gate!

"~Oho~?" The red-haired man said with an intrigued smile.

Number 102 grabbed the Ki stone and ran towards the men, feeling unbelievable hatred for the man in the middle!

The Count was back!

However, before getting halfway to him, he collapsed on the ground spitting blood! Seeing this, Number 103 ran and took the Ki stone, standing in front of her brothers as Number 104 checked on Number 104!

However, a gentle wave of Ki washed out of the blonde-haired man on the right and the siblings all fell unconscious as well!

King Arthur was currently flying toward the count's territory. He was holding the count hostage with his Ki, making the count unable to move!

Agni Igris decided to tag along with this expedition because he wished to understand the way these nobles of humanity behaved! At least the bad ones.

Around 15 minutes later, they arrived at the count's mansion.

The guards at the front gate immediately kneeled and said, "Your Majesty"!

Nodded at them, the trio walked through the house, as the king let the count speak to answer his question.

"Where is the dungeon?" He queried in an absolute tone.

The Count led them to the basement door that the three siblings had seen the first time they had entered the dungeon!

Although both the rulers could've found it, they wanted to make sure that the count understood something.

That he was well and truly f*cked!

The Count knew this, he had long sobered up and understood that there was nothing he could do to get out of this.

He only hoped that by cooperating his sentence would be lessened, even by a bit.

There, they saw the three kids broken and bleeding standing at the open gate to the dungeon with smiles on their faces!

The Count was surprised that they managed to escape, he didn't understand how these underdeveloped and weak kids managed to get past his guards!

However, he didn't recognize them in the slightest, his thoughts being melancholy and disappointed that they managed to get one over on him.

They would be executed immediately had he never been caught but alas…

The Kings, however, ignored the children for a few seconds as they used their Ki to sense and understand what happened inside this place.

They saw the count's entire operation and didn't know what more proof they needed that he was guilty!

King Arthur was somewhat hoping that the count was spouting drunken bullsh*t, however, there was no longer any doubt!

Agni Igris' interest was in something else entirely though!

He saw the dead guards and the escaped cells. Now paying attention to the kids, the rulers were a bit impressed at the kid's ingenuity and grit.

However, something else entirely intrigued Agni Igris!

These kids had the willpower and determination to not only go through with this escape but the ability to succeed against overwhelming odds!

He was impressed by the rage and bloodlust Number 102 showed as he charged at the count. And he loved the protective attitude of the family and their familial bond!

'These kids have the souls of a dragon' Agni Igris thought as his eyes shone with a glimmering light.

As King Arthur put them to sleep, Agni Igris looked at Arthur and declared, "I'll take 'em" with a predatory smile!

Arthur was confused but he understood the reason at least! Agni Igris had no heirs currently, and he needed kids for the tournament that they would hold.

However, he didn't understand why he wanted human kids who didn't seem to be all that strong.

Nor why he seemed to wanted these kids who were probably damaged from their upbringing.

However, looking at Agni Igris' expression he knew he was just being polite, he wasn't asking!

But, the human king relented as he didn't believe that the dragon would hurt the children.

He nodded his head in agreement as his attention turned back to the count, now having to solve this mess!
