Su Liuying stood in front of Su Qing's door and raised her hand to knock. "Mother Su, are you still awake?"
"Not yet!"
Su Qing opened the door and looked at her in surprise. "Liuying, why aren't you with Tianyou? What brings you here?"
"Mother Su, I just want to chat with you, like when I was little and always nestled by your side, talking about everything!"
Su Qing looked at her amusingly and said, "You! You're already someone's wife, yet you're still so childish!"
Su Liuying grabbed Su Qing's hand and said playfully, "I just want to keep Mother Su company!"
"Alright, alright! Come in!"
The two of them lay back on the bed. Su Liuying curled up beside Su Qing like she used to when she was a child, as Su Qing gently ran her fingers through Liuying's hair.
"Liuying, Mother Su can tell there's something on your mind today."
