After he gave his Psian Jackels the go ahead to freely mate with the Amazons he expected the island to begin to produce new hybrids which would be taken into his Empire. The most insidious aspect was the bloodline restrictions his Cloned armies all had.
They would pass this to their children which would make any future Amazon females completely loyal to him and him alone. Even if they were raised as Amazons, their very bloodlines and souls would make them loyal like their Fathers.
Regardless, he decided to leave that in the back of his mind. Once he sat back down among his wives, Diana, his daughter, and Rachel, he decided to start asking some questions.
"Diana, I haven't asked or checked into it, but how are the former League members doing now that there is no crime on Terra?"
Diana thought back to her former friends, as many had cut her off for siding with the enemy, as they called him. She sighed as she spoke on them.
"Well, Bruce, as you know, hasn't given up the Batman persona. He still patrols Gotham even if his efforts are not needed."
Erda smirked as she focused on her connection to the entire planet they were standing on. She focused on Gotham to find the location of Bruce, who was patroling the city from the roof tops.
That was not needed as at this very moment several regiments of Tempestus Scions, and Psian Jackels were patroling Gotham. Above the city, several Tyranids and Predakons, along with the evolved rats, dogs, cats, bats, and other critters that lived in Gotham, were under her control.
They kept crime down, and Erda had been dealing with the curse of Gotham. That was caused by two things: the Warlock that was sealed under the city and the claim Barbados had on the city.
Thanks to Justinian's new Yggrdasil Energy Net and Erda's claim to the planet, his claim was weakening.
"At this very moment, Bruce is doing his usual patrols as the Batman. Since all the criminals he dealt with have been arrested and sent to the newly built Supermax prison he has nothing to do.
Imperial forces are keeping crime at zero. As for Superman, Metropolis is safer than ever, but he, too still does his patrols of the city. Just like Gotham, it is protected, so they are doing this out of habit more than anything."
Lauralina nodded to herself.
"Seems you are doing a good job."
Erda smiled at the praise.
"Of course I am. That is my job, and the Aether flowing through the planet is keeping it in Justnian's control."
Diana who heard this was wondering what this would mean for Gaea Mother Earth or the other Greek Gods. They had avoided Earth since Justinian returned from wherever he went.
When he returned, his power had swelled to such a state that she had no idea what he could do. Justinian, for his par,t hadn't unleashed his power just yet, but something told her he would do something huge soon.
As such, for the future, she wanted to know something.
"Justinian, tell me the truth, what do you plan to do? You have become so much stronger than when I first met you. Your Imperium continues to grow, but when will you stop?"
Justinian glanced at his wives, who looked back at him. He nodded as he decided to be honest.
"For now, my goal remains unchanged. I will take complete control over the Milky Way and the galaxies around it. Controlling the entire universe seems a complicated goal, but it may come to that one day.
I have no intention of expanding my conquests to other universes, but I do wish to become so powerful few can challenge my Imperium. I will protect those around me, but I have no intention of ever dying.
Right now, my main foe is Darkseid, but once he is dealt with, I am sure others will take his place."
Diana locked her hands together before she asked something she had never asked before.
"When your goal is complete, what will you do? Stop conquering? What is your end goal?"
This time, Justinian paused as he hadn't thought about it. All this time, he had been wanting to grow his Imperium, become strong enough to never die, and become someone respected, feared, or both.
Even now with his recent enhancement, he still had many foes, which meant he needed to continue to grow stronger. He didn't speak as his mind raced through many different end-term goals.
In reality, could he really just stop one day and settle down as a ruler of his Imperium? What would he do if he achieved his goal of near invincibility? What would happen when he finally started having kids? would he allow one of them to inherit his Empire?
Probably not, but what if they desired to be his heir? what could he do? His wives, Diana, Erda, and Leginstrasse all watched his face as he thought about the question he had been asked.
"I do not know. All I have known is war, growing stronger, eliminating my foes, and expanding The Imperium. However, there will come a time when I need to stop by expansion as The Imperium will be large enough. As such, I will say this: when I become strong enough that I no longer have enemies that can threaten me, I will stop.
How long will that take even I am unsure, but that is why I continue to pursue different methods of immortality. Does that answer your question?"
Diana thought about it before she nodded.
"It does. I won't tell you what to do, but think about your future a bit more. Will you just live for conquest, or will you consider peace one day?"
Justinian didn't respond as he thought about her words.
"Maybe your right, when that day comes, I will look forward to it."
Diana smiled.
"I am glad, for now, let's not talk about the gritty stuff. Tell me more about Mars and what you have done. All of you must have stories of your travels?"
Justinian smirked.
"That we do. Tell her some of your own experiences ladies?"
Lauralina instantly brought up their recent trip to another reality. However, she did keep some stuff secret, like Justinian's harvest of souls.
"Well, we managed to travel outside this reality to one similar, but different from it. We found new beings and new powers."
Sanguinia nodded.
"That we did, it was quite expansive, but we returned before the stronger beings decided to kick us out."
Diana frowned.
"And you didn't invite me?"
Justinian decided to extend an invitation to her.
"Diana, would you consider moving with us to Mars, to my palace? You wouldn't need to be away from us or me."
Diana stood up before she walked to the window, looking out at her home.
"I would like that, but my place is here."
Justinian nodded before standing up.
"Understood. For now, let's just enjoy the time we have together."
Diana smiled.
"I would like that."
For the rest of the day, Justinian and his family stuck around talking to Diana about their busy lives. His wives in particular wanted to know more about Diana since she was yet to marry Justinian. They wanted to know when she planned to take that step, but she didn't know.
As for Leginstrasse, she followed her Mothers along as they wanted her around. Rachel, who was the younges,t was dragged around for a lady's talk while Erda stayed with Justinian.
While the woman had their talk, Justinian and Erda had a more quite conversation. Erda crossed her arms as she looked next to her at her Master.
"I wanted to ask you something, too?"
He looked over at her beautiful face.
"What is it?"
"I know you respect me a great deal, and I know you find me beautiful since you yourself had a hand in my creation, but why have you never made a move? Recently, you became less cold, but what is stopping you, my lor,d from making a move on me?"
"Merely a great deal of respect I hold for you. Ever since I returned and evolved you, you have been more pushy. Maybe I do need to keep a closer eye on you?"
She began to smile as she looked up into his dark purple eyes.
"I would like that. Can I call you Justinian?"
He nodded.
"I don't mind. I do find you beyond beautiful, same with my wive,s and you are the soul of the very core of my Empire. Without you, The Imperium would not be what it is, Erda. Your birth was one of the best gifts I could have received."
She leaned over, resting her head on his shoulder.
"I am glad to hear that. I would love nothing more than to be yours, Justinian. My soul is already yours and so is my body(Mars), but I want to be more than just that. I want to be precious in your heart."
He reached out and grabbed her hand before placing it on his chest.
"I have two hearts, Erda. My previous mental restrictions are gone, just my own will keeps them in check. There is space for you yet."
Erda closed her eyes as she felt that she would always just be a servant to him. A friend maybe, but nothing more. To hear that her Lord and Master treasured her more than just that filled her with endless joy.
They would have many years to continue this, so for now they just spent it together. When the day ended, Justinian, Leginstrasse, and Erda had to return to Mars. Justinian had a war to win with Apokolyps and lots to do running his Empire.
As such, Diana didn't want to keep them with her longer than needed. She smiled as she gazed at them.
"I am glad you all could come to spend time with me. I know you have much to do, with your Empire, so I won't keep you longer."
Justinian glanced at his wives before he walked toward Diana. Thanks to his shorter height of 6'5, he was just a bit taller than Diana. He cupped her chin gently before he bent down and kissed her once.
She closed her eyes as they didn't do this often or at all since they were apart all the time. She enjoyed the kiss before he pulled away.
"I will be back soon, Diana. I still would like you to go with us."
She cupped his hand before running her hand down his face.
"I know. Give me more time."
"Take as much as you need."
He stepped away from her before he opened his hand, causing his Guardian Spear and power armor to appear around him. His wives, Erda and Leginstrasse, did the sam,e summoning their gear around them.
Remnosh gave Diana a nod of her head.
"Be seeing you."
Lauralina handed her a personal copy of the Bible of The Imperium.
"For you."
Leona just gave her a simple wave while Sanguinia and Magna hugged her tight.
"We look forward to our next meeting."
With that, Justinian gave her one last smile before teleporting them all back to Mars in his throne room. When they were gone, Diana stopped smiling as she looked out at her island.
"I wish I could go with them."
She would, as soon as she made sure the Amazons were ok. At least they would begin repopulating soon with strong Fathers. She was quite interested in the children born of the union of her sisters and Justinian's forces.
"It will be something to look forward to."
---
As for Justinian, when he returned to Mars, he didn't waste any time to revert back to his true size of 20 feet. He sat himself on his throne which surged with power connecting him to The World Tree Energy Net connecting him and Erda through every planet in the Imperium.
His wives, Erda and Leginstrasse, did the same before they were quickly joined by his Honor Guar,d who teleported to his side when they sensed his return to Mars. They all saluted him before he returned the greeting.
"We have returned from Terra, my compansions. I have talked with Diana, my future bride, and have decided on some things. For now, out plans will continue as they have been."
Ddraig and Albion who were away from him teleported back to his side as they had plans. His brothers were looking forward to taking a trip into the DxD Universe, but not just any universe. They wanted to return to their original universe as they had unfinished business.
It was going to be one of his future destinations as he had someone he was interested in living there.
'So many plans in the making, but it should take priority.'
For now, he spoke at length with his brothers about their return to Dragon Deus. They had some old debts to settle after all.
